I have mixed feelings about this. There is no doubt Cliff Lee is a premier pitcher that could have been the face of the franchise for years to come, but that would have been at a very lofty price. I am kind of glad to see us have the extra change now to go out and get other players, but man, it would have been nice to see him in a Rangers uni for 5-7 years. That being said, I am very glad the Yanks and Halos did not get them. How good will the Phillies be next year? Doc, Cliff, Oswalt and Hameles- geeze, do they even need to play the regular season? Rangers need to go out and get Greinke now in my opinion, I am afraid they can not get deep in to the playoffs with out another great arm.

I would think a Thursday would be better for a large student turnout. I know a lot of people, including myself, who only work weekends due to school. Also most students have nothing going on during the week but have weekend plans.

How will they tear down Fouts? I imagine a hammer or toothpick will be suffice.

If it comes down to Dodge v. Thompson for the starting gig in 2011 my vote goes to Dodge. However, if we land Clinton Granger I would like to see him compete for the number one spot.

For some reason most members here have an unflappable hate of all thing SMU. I could careless about them personally, because I have never seen us play them in any sport.

I honestly think that the Christmas at the Square had to do with this low number. It is the reason I had to miss the game, I had to take my girlfriend out there to make up for her going to all the games with me.

He has got some big name schools gunning for him. I would hope we are trying to keep him up here in north Texas.

Both of those QB's look good. I like Coopers height and he looks really light on his feet and Clinton looks like he has a hell of an arm.

Hey Yellow Snow or any other ISU fans, how did Mac do in regards to filling yalls stadium's seat, or was that never an issue for yall? Also is all the snow in Iowa yellow?

My vote goes to Riley just because of his leadership skills, I'm not saying that Tune or Thompson lack in that area, but we just have not seen it from them as much as he have with #11. I also like Rileys ability to scramble and make plays happen. The only thing that would make me want Thompson or Tune is the fact that Riley is injury prone, I would love to see the same QB week in and week out.

I really think that attendance is off. It looked like it was on par with the Rice crowd and I thought that number was in the 3,000 range. Regardless the student section was great it would be nice to see the other side of the stadium with some people.

Not yet, but another strong showing by the pit. My guess would be upper 3,000 range.

I want our team to look good when we win.
