I haven't figure out why we can't have Bowls as well as a playoff system. Why can't the NCAA adopt something like this... Continue to have the lesser bowl games such as the "GoDaddy.com Bowl", "Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl" and the "Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl" for teams that have the 6 wins needed, but obviously don't belong in a playoff. Now, take the bigger bowl games... ex. Cotton Bowl, Gator, Chick-Fil-A, Capital One, Sugar, Rose, Orange, Fiesta, and the National Championship game, and make a damn playoff for the top 8 teams, or top 16 teams, or however many they want. Makes sense to me, why don't any of the guys making the decisions see it this way!?

I hope Coach Mac can bring in some players that WANT to play for the Mean Green and will honor their commitment. Not come here as a last resort and bow out when things don't go exactly how they've planned. Sure is a love fest for someone who just quit the program. Thanks for all the -1's, Riley's buddies must've been cruising the board.

I guy who worked at the Home Depot in Hawthorne, NY said "Go Mean Green" when I was wearing my North Texas Alumni shirt. I said it back to him, but I was in a hurry and didn't have a chance to talk to him and hear his story. Pretty cool that there is a fan or 2 up here though.

Funny how it works out. I live in NYC, and I'm going to be in Texas for a wedding that weekend. I'll try and get some of my friends to head up there and support the Mean Green.

Yes! When I was a student at UNT, tons of my friends would leave the game at halftime to go get beer. Why not sell it at the stadium until the end of the 3rd quarter, and keep those people in their seats? They'd make a little more money, and more people would be around to see the end of the game. Should be some pretty exciting finishes this year.

Better idea. Although it is hilarious calling it Wacky, can we just call it the WAC?
