I have never been a fan of the Wing. It looks like a poor attempt to make the stadium different and interesting. Does anyone know if there will be a section of the stadium with seats rather than bleachers? Any plans to have color to the bleachers rather than plain old silver?

I played on the club baseball team when I was at UNT. The school gave us $10,000 a semester for equipment, travel expenses, and other fees (umpires, etc.). I think UNT not having a team is more a title IX issue than anything. There is plenty of baseball talent in Texas. More than enough to give us a competitive team right from the start. However, given then generally apathetic nature of the student body toward athletics, I think it would be difficult getting butts in the seats.

We need to be doing everything we can to get out of the Sun Belt. It is a worthless conference with no rivalries. Maybe I'm alone here, but I never get excited to see Middle Tennessee roll into town. If we had moved to the WAC, there would be some interesting teams coming through every couple of years. I can only hope CUSA or the WAC comes through with an invite. If not, we're heading nowhere fast. I love the Mean Green, and when you hit your knees tonight, ask God to love 'em too.

I'm down with any move that saves us from the Sun Belt. The plan he lays out sounds pretty fair to me. It would certainly give us some consistent, regional matchups that we've been missing. Hopefully driving up attendance, and media coverage. (Do we currently get any at all?)

Westchester is serviced by pretty much all major airlines. It's the only airport I'll fly in and out of anymore. If you're planning to stay in the city, then JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark are you best options. Westchester is far smaller than those airports, however, there is no traffic, rarely a flight delay, and it's only a 10 minute cab ride to the nearest Metro North train Station. I live in the NYC Area. The best airport to fly into would be Stewart International (SWF) or Westchester(HPN). Westchester would be a bit further from Westpoint, but much closer to the city if you're making a vacation out of the trip. There should be a fair amount of hotels in the area wherever you decide to land. Hope that helps you out.
