Yeah, he was great with my kids a few years back at a McKinney Marshals game. He was there to throw out the first pitch and graciously took a few moments for photos with the kids. Last ever game played our Fouts he caught one last pass from Hall and I found myself in space one on one with him. I had no chance of course and only managed to turn him back inside. All of our former letterman were already done playing and he made it look effortless. Hell, for him, it probably was effortless.

Maybe, but only for a game or two. Once opposing defenses realize they have to defend all receivers in the patten and not roll their coverages so heavily and so often to Carlos then it should really open him up to be more effective and explosive.

I'm curious as to how this team handles the past week. Early indications are not encouraging, but this is a great set up for Western to get trapped if this team has the mental fortitude and catches a lucky break or two. I'll be tuning in after I get home from my kid's game. The matchup and how this game sets up has me intrigued.

His transfers in are mostly of the one year variety or not very good (Keith Coleman). He just can't get more than a couple of HS kids on campus and in the games. The entire roster is his and there are zero preseason all conference players. JJ's last few classes had some serious talent and more of his transfers turned out to be good (or very good-great) players. Think of guys like Wooden, Tramiel, Odufuwa. Jordan was a very good HS recruit along with CJ. They are not signees (yet), merely verbal commits.

Wasn't Carlos the one who got called for unsportsmanlike conduct during the SMU game? His on the field antics have cost his team (though less than he's cost the opposing team). Do you think that team flat laid down and quit on Saturday? If so, then I don't think you should be telling people to lay off. If not, then you might be one of the only people to have that opinion. Carlos' antics might be considered colorful and taken with a grain of salt if this team isn't 0-5 and historically bad.

Also a shot at Portland State? They certainly beat UNT when they are down...
