No argument that she's shown a ton in the short times since she's been back. I think she will have lots of success here, but for me it's still too early to proclaim good or bad. I've made exceptions to this (Benford), but even then I waited until much later in the season. Jalie's team is likely struggle as the season wears on and wears down her short bench. If she continues to recruit like she has and kick it up a notch too then we could be in for a great ride. (Hello tourney bid!)

Yeah, JJ was a RV hire, but Billy said the above was off hires done in the last 10 years. I think he chose that timeframe to give a decent sample size and better reflect how RV has done hiring coaches more recently and thus how he is likely to do in the future.

It does make at least down sense though. The team you beat was highly ranked, they fell (at least in part) because you beat them.

Or, hire a new department head for athletics and let him/her do their job... Delegation really frees you up for the important stuff.

If my son were good enough for D1 sports I would do everything in my power to keep AoM off message boards and I might have to tie her down at the games in an effort to keep her from reacting... So that speaks very well of them and their understanding of what to expect from D1 football. Very classy of them.
