I'd count them, but that seems about right to me. Nichols basketball team appears to be about on par with their 2014 football team...

As I understand it, UIL uses a formula to normalize schools that have less than four grades (for example I think if a school is only 10-12 then they multiply by 1.33). They also do it for new schools that don't yet have all four grades.

these are the numbers used for the current alignment. I've seen where someone listed the new numbers from this year (to be used for the coming realignment), but couldn't find the link this morning.

I disagree. Too many inaccuracies are repeated in broadcasts that it's far more likely the SID or athletic department isn't doing anything to help commentators prep. New blood can't be worse than what we have in there now...

Way too early, but I'll take a shot at it and say something like 24-25 thousand. New coach, new season, new freshmen should lead it to be better than a late losing season attendance like 16k.

Heard was gone before Dillman was recruited, er, transferred to Guyer. Ryan ran off a promising upperclassman last year in favor of starting freshman Spencer Sanders so it's no guarantee he would have played QB (if eligible) at Ryan.

Great question, if not could this be a sign it's really his hire? You are aware of the failings at this school over the last couple of decades, right? I haven't been a fan that long, but I can only imagine how much the long term guys have had to suffer through.

He redshirted this year. I'd like to see him get a shot at qb, but his HS coach thought he projected better as a TE on the FBS level so it's not only Mac/Canales on this issue.
