    I would think just from the increase in attendance during the JJ era (and more specially, the final six years) would have resulted in more memory coming in.

    Maybe, but since RV is still here after a series of massive failures one could make the case that I was being an optimist.

    By place, do you mean the basketball forum? If so, I can think of two causes, one of them could very fairly be considered the root cause.

    Yeah, the dead cat bounce/excitement of a new coach should even out the attendance drop that was going to happen and possibly lead to a slight uptick. If they can start out 2-0 then an increase is almost certain. Especially considering that last year represents a major low in attendance.

    Riley also played big school Texas football (equivalent to 5A today). Fine didn't face near as many large, fast guys in HS as Riley. That could partially account for different injury histories.

I was going to link to the penal code and add a remark to check the spelling before making comments, not that it would have done any good.

    Early Saturday games have two major negatives and one minor one. 1: Early Saturday in the early season is scorching hot. Like small children and old people could get into some serious health issues hot. 2: They bump up to little league sports. Parents are going to watch their kids. Minor: Less tailgating time.
