God help the person who tries to get in the way of a cheer momma!

Meh, Benford was way outside of his coaching 'box' and freaking out. That's going to be a tech pretty much every time. The call he was upset about was a bad one, but his reaction is almost guaranteed to be punished as well.

Whatevs, like, we just stole one of their QBs. This kid is next! -
Why? The new words will just develop a "hurtful" meaning and you're back in the same spot.

His UNT offer announcement is currently has about 10 fewer likes than his announcement of a TX St offer. Mean Green nation, go like the kids tweet! -

Maybe coaching tight ends is his true calling. -
'17 ATH Tyreke Davis (Denton Ryan) [LOI: NT]
Army of Dad replied to BillySee58's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
He's probably fast enough and is a good worker and player overall so I'd guess he could make a switch if asked. -

Not sure we could get him here. It could be argued that Utah State is a better job than this one...

Then as far as I'm concerned, they are yours to keep.

They don't get fired for the act of saying it, they get fired for losing too much!

Then you don't know me well enough to make that statement. I've taken responsibility for screw ups both to my client and internal teams-even when they aren't really mine. I'll have more candid conversations with my superiors when necessary, but I don't lie to cover my backside. I've taken more than one butt chewing over the actions of others and it's likely I'll take more. Acting with integrity, personal responsibility, loyalty, and leadership is something some people do every day. Others choose to not act that way, but don't act like it doesn't happen. This is also true in the sports world, how many times have you heard a coach say he didn't prepare his players well enough? Star QB saying the loss is on him and I'll be better next time?

Why? He doesn't take any responsibility for things that have gone wrong on his watch...
