    Additionally, in this case the rule he is appealing was specifically created to address situations like his. The fact that the appeal has 'North Texas' on it shouldn't have any impact on its denial.

    Yep, just fall practices were closed. I don't think I've seen anything saying if Coach Littrell will have closed or open practices in the fall.

    Spring practices are open to the public, just like they were under Mac.

    They were 19-31 last year and 11-12 in conference play. It may be semantics, but awful winning percentage last season and below .500 conference play last year and (so far) this year isn't what I would characterize as doing 'fine'. Track 4th in conference would be 'fine', IMO.

    Soccer sure, but you might want to look into the softball record before you say they are doing fine. Track, uh, are they good? I can respect that.

    They could be working hard and just be very ineffective.

    And you've been nearly as vocal about how you do t feel it's right to make the current students foot the bill to the extent they are doing so. So, win?

    For anyone new to the site this is not the way lifer used to talk about athletics here. It's a bit shocking, not as shocking as if Kram posted something like this, but shocking that we've come to this.

    I really want this to be a false flag statement and the decision hasn't been made yet, but why would an AD make a systement that a coach under contact will be coaching again next season? (I agree that in the case he should say it publicly and with some sort of reasoning, I just don't think he will.)

    Why not pay the value you and RV place on the seats? Aren't you really saying that club seats have almost no value because the terrible way the AD is run by RV?

    We can only hope he threw himself down onto his sword. Oh, I don't think anyone can ever again ask why Denton and the local community don't support UNT. There is no reason to do so. Why bother when the school and the AD don't care about even trying to win?

    No way, we've had game threads where they barely got to three pages. There's just not very much interest in the program anymore. I'm not even sure a resurrection is even possible at this point, that's how far we've fallen.
