If you feel I violated the rules for the board, report the post. If your position is so weak that you feel the need to attempt to drown out a counter point, then that says a lot. Sorry, not sorry I violated your "safe space".

MGB: UNT opens spring tomorrow, sked, policy for attending
Army of Dad replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
I'm sorry @pastorgrant, I could have swore I heard they would be open as they were in years past. -

That line might be a Rorschach test, as dirty as the reader makes it out to be! -
In evaluation, Smatresk gets good marks from Jackson
Army of Dad replied to Skipper's topic in Mean Green Football
"Smatresk received an “above average performance” ranking for his management style by Jackson, specifically for how he budgeted expenses to minimize excessive spending." I feel like the above was just meant for @untjim1995 -
Position Group Rankings Part 7 - Quarterbacks

After four years in college I would be willing to bet he threw at least one pass in the love game. (gotta have some fun after hearing all the bad news coming out of Bonnie Brea) -
Yep, just fall practices were closed. I don't think I've seen anything saying if Coach Littrell will have closed or open practices in the fall.
-
Spring practices are open to the public, just like they were under Mac.

How long will students put up with paying for nothing?
Army of Dad replied to UNT90's topic in Mean Green Football
They were 19-31 last year and 11-12 in conference play. It may be semantics, but awful winning percentage last season and below .500 conference play last year and (so far) this year isn't what I would characterize as doing 'fine'. Track 4th in conference would be 'fine', IMO. -
You just don't have the vision to transform programs.

Soccer sure, but you might want to look into the softball record before you say they are doing fine. Track, uh, are they good? I can respect that. -

Uh, what do you think is happening to the athletic program now? -

And you've been nearly as vocal about how you do t feel it's right to make the current students foot the bill to the extent they are doing so. So, win? -
For anyone new to the site this is not the way lifer used to talk about athletics here. It's a bit shocking, not as shocking as if Kram posted something like this, but shocking that we've come to this.

MGB: Benford says he will be back, confident in future
Army of Dad replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Basketball
I really want this to be a false flag statement and the decision hasn't been made yet, but why would an AD make a systement that a coach under contact will be coaching again next season? (I agree that in the case he should say it publicly and with some sort of reasoning, I just don't think he will.) -
Why not pay the value you and RV place on the seats? Aren't you really saying that club seats have almost no value because the terrible way the AD is run by RV?

Rick Villarreal lies about basketball accountability

Maybe they have the real inside info. Benford will be fired tomorrow. Vito was fed a bs line to embarrass him. -
MGB: Benford says he will be back, confident in future
Army of Dad replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Basketball
We can only hope he threw himself down onto his sword. Oh, I don't think anyone can ever again ask why Denton and the local community don't support UNT. There is no reason to do so. Why bother when the school and the AD don't care about even trying to win? -
Heard the same thing when Mac was hired...
-
No way, we've had game threads where they barely got to three pages. There's just not very much interest in the program anymore. I'm not even sure a resurrection is even possible at this point, that's how far we've fallen.

Ah, thanks

No way, too few fans will be left to get this to 16...
