  1. I. I believe. eta: ugh, wondo has been awful, Bradley wasteful with the ball and it looks like the US defensive plan is to whack the ball away at every opportunity...
  2. Ok, was hoping icons were accurate to zip code for multiple locations (only one icon in city of Denton). Happy to help.
  3. The only modification I made to your post was to delete the portions I wasn't directly responding to. It certainly is possible that portions of either side don't really want to pass legislation.
  4. There is a third option: Neither side (or factions within each side) really wants to pass legislation. It could be argued the left might wish to keep the 'guns are evil' bogeyman and not get voted out like has happened before. It could also be argued that the more strict constructionists on the right voted along party lines to win the concession to not allow any legislation to pass and protect their jobs as well.
  5. The disclaimer has 'presence' mispelled. I didn't see a key, but assume the grey mosquito icons are traps that haven't reported? Are all of the icons accurately placed on the map? Will you link to any health department pages with info?
  6. I haven't read the whole transcript, but the article I saw said he never mentioned gays and only pledged allegiance to ISIS and said he was doing this in the name of allah. Assuming that report is accurate, how would it be a hate crime?
  7. Even then he probably should have been told to hold of scheduling anything.
  8. He's not quite home yet and I'm surprised and disappointed that he was allowed to add these games to the schedule. I think the next AD should have been allowed to make that decision.
  9. Tough to say, but from what I read my guess would be pysch issue more than terrorist douche. The psych eval is also a decent way to hold this guy for an extra period in addition to getting a professional look into his mental makeup.
  10. One major difference though, the Soviets were trying to keep their people in.
  11. Hmm, Mahoney looks like he's high, no? Or just completely disinterested...
  12. I meant the famous trio from the city of Lockhart.
  13. Maybe not redshirt the WR recruit form OK? It seems we need more capable recievers. I do think Fine should be redshirted this year. With the JUCO QB addition we should be able to sit Fine this year and let him learn and grow.
  14. Terror watch list is a sticky problem though. Citizens can be placed on it with little to no recourse available to the citizen for removal. There have been several famous instances of legislators being on the list in error. They had the pull to get themselves removed from the list without too much trouble, but I doubt regular folks would be able to get the error addressed so easily. Also of great concern is that would be depriving a citizen of their civil rights without the due process enshrined in the Constitution.
  15. So glad we agree that gun bans are only effective way in making some people feel safer.
  16. Dickeys doesn't pretend to be something it's not. We will have to disagree as I don't think it's horrible, but they won't be winning any best BBQ awards. Bet the House is good, but they are no where near Lockhart good. I may have to consider giving Hard 8 another try and follow @UNTexas advice and avoid the Coppell location.
  17. Yes, lived up to the reputation, IMO.
  18. Salt Lick makes good BBQ, but that sauce is awful. I accidentally got some on my brisket once and had to give that piece away...to my wife, who loves that sauce. Have you done Franklin's yet?
  19. Dickeys is not the barbecue equivalent of 12-20.
  20. I've been to Hard Eight (Coppell) once. Dry, overdone, and overpriced 'cue is all I found. I have no plans to visit ever again. Dickeys is consistent. They will never reach Franklin's or the Lockhart trio levels, it's not bad.
  21. Not so fast. It's very possible he wasn't a credible threat when the FBI looked into him and only later became a threat. We should not punish citizens that haven't committed a crime and should not begin doing so.
  22. I'm of the opinion that ISIS would take credit quickly regardless if they knew about the plot ahead of time or not. It is likely to be perceived as a benefit to them. They have called for these kinds of attacks and don't have any requirements to join up ahead of time outside of pledging allegiance to them. I don't know if the shooter was a closet gay that couldn't handle the dichotomy or just the usual grade of islamofacist douche. I do think it funny that ISIS might have touted this guy as one of theirs and it turns out he might be gay. It is possible his purported gay activities were targeting Intel gathering activities and not a genuine gay lifestyle. This is an interesting twist to a awful tale.
