    We got Chumley because we were going to give him a chance at QB. He likely wouldn't have come here as a TE. He got his chance with two different staffs and now makes the move. I think he got a fair shake and we held up our end of the agreement. As for Vito-Shanbour, maybe Vito is just trying to pick on someone (closer to) his own size...

    You were doing great until this. The districts do not exist to make money, but to educate. This might be the most civil beef I've seen on here in recent memory.

    I get it, but this exact situation was addressed in the rule change and it was always (almost) impossible for anyone anywhere to get cleared to play right away.

    I see his fouls mostly coming from positioning and footwork (which kind of is inexperience) more than anything. He had some bad fouls last year that a more experienced player typically avoids, but those seemed the exception rather than the rule to me. I think his good block numbers come from being 7' and will improve based on his natural talent developing.

    Brice's footwork is just so-so. The good news is I think he will improve that considerably. I hope he gets much better at defensive positioning as well. Those two things hurt him the most last season, but that's not unusual for freshman bigs. He really seems to love being here and playing here and that's a huge add to the fun.
