  1. I'm a vet. I find disrespecting the national anthem and the flag to be offensive and most definitely NOT patriotic. I (naturally) know quite a few vets and I don't believe a single one of them would agree with your statement.
  2. I'm pretty sure his owner was enrolled...
  3. What about on 3rd downs? After touchdowns? Interceptions? Sacks? Big hits?
  4. @Cerebus we need a ruling is this bit allowable or in poor taste negatively affecting and alum?
  5. I thought it was chicken (KFC)...
  6. Are you sure about that?
  7. I have faith that if you let the right people know about the service you received that WB will see the CSC people will receive a "refresher" on customer service. Sorry you had a bad experience. I've had a run in or two with them before, but I've noticed a big change for the better on their attitudes this season.
  8. I don't recall what was happening on the first one, but on the second it was in the red zone and it did look like Fine was going to run as he moved out of the pocket. Those penalties are excusable, IMO. A penalty based on effort isn't that bad as long as the player doesn't make it a habit. The second ineligible looked to be Murray trying to be a road grader paving the way for his QB to the end zone. Fine ended up pulling up and throwing it. Broken plays sometimes lead to that type of penalty. It sucks, but it just happens.
  9. Less that I would have thought...
  10. Yeah, but for now they get their teeth kicked in. It will be very interesting to see if Ryan can remain a power school in the long run.
  11. I missed a GMG fight!? Dang...
  12. Just a general FYI. If you need (or just want) a North Texas tent the Denton Sam's Club has them for $80 right now.
  13. DirectTV allows you to watch through the internet if you are an active customer...
  14. They don't really need to if they can start getting more people to the games and grow the MGC. Many hands makes light work...
  15. If they wouldn't return phone calls for OOC scheduling it makes you wonder if they even tried to have any input with conference scheduling...
  16. Agree, it's much easier to make noise on a regional or national level in baseball than football or basketball. That isnt to say it's easy of course, but with the right support...
  17. If/when you have a winning program you can worry about replacing the place you have now? Similar logic. If we had not hired the wrong guy and then compounded that mistake by retaining him all this time we wouldn't be having a discussion of 5k seat stadiums. Top that off with the general incompetence in the AD and you get what we have. The right coach and AD support combo and we draw 6-7k for even the bad conference games in just 2-3 seasons...
  18. As was everything else, no?
  19. No on the 6k max BB venue. We were drawing more than that during JJ's last years for good conference games.
  20. @MeanGreen13 https://issuu.com/lmcbride/docs/unt_report?ff=true&e=1568302/39184128
  21. I'm betting he's fine in that regard. This report should make for some interesting tailgate talk!
  22. I disagree. $20k over 350 hours of research is $57/hour. We got a good, comprehensive report at a family discount and it is worth every penny in my opinion.
  23. Agree. Also, I just finished reading the full report. I highly recommend everyone here take the time and give it a thorough read. I'll be surprised if you don't have a strong emotional response.
  24. So we are (or were) near last in just about everything except administrative costs. That and lots of things were left to suffer or rot. Ouch. Here's to WB, maybe you be more than man enough for this job. We all hope you are, we all need you to be, GMG.
  25. Agree
