Predict the MBB nonconference record
Army of Dad replied to Matt from A700's topic in Mean Green Basketball
They do, and I'm fine with it. That attendance count was far more accurate than anything else so far this season or last. -
The Coogs would have crawled across broken glass to get a P5 invite. They would have been tickled to have a douchetastic conference mate like Tu (should be used to it after having Smut all these years). Those are very much sour grapes, maybe more from being told 'no' than for the coach going P5 without you, but sour grapes all the same.

Impressed by how quick his hands are. -

Derail looks to be sick as can be. He's parked by a trash can or trash bag whenever he's not on the floor. Hopefully it passes quickly -

Aw hell. The old Benford might be trying to come back out. He's already twice turned around trying to figure out who he wanted to sub. Maybe he can't handle this many options... -

@Travis Scott definitely goes to the games and was formerly not very down on Benford. (Certainly not as much as I've been) I do think our offensive problems could be from too much "thinking" (or micromanagement)and not enough playing. -

Better fit at Wake? -
Guess I'll start this. Frazier and Woolridge look to make their home debuts tonight. SELA is supposed to be trigger happy from beyond the arc so this game could come down to our ability to defend the 3. *gulp*

We can hope for a bad shooting night I guess... -
Rogue One (Spoilers)
Army of Dad replied to Rudy's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
Saw it and liked it. Though some of the people I saw it with didn't like/were surprised about how it ended. (not posting more than that to avoid a spoiler) -
You mean other than a history of cheating? And not just in south Dallas, I'm guessing you missed the thread @FirefightnRick started where loads of folks discussed the massive amount of transfers...

They also pay all of their cadets a full salary far in excess of the money a player can (within the rules) receive at most other D1 schools. -

That doesn't bode well for Benford's boys. We have sucked at defending the 3 for most of his time here... -
They are way too busy deciding what people may do in their cars to bother with such weighty issues.
-
Too many steps to get to the goal.
-
Yeah, but I think we will beat one of them. We seem to have at least one "lucky" win each year.
-
I don't really disagree with your other points, just disagree that their is "no benefit" & "no real chance of keeping his job". Everyone has to know he should be gone, and is almost certainly gone at some point between now and April. The players are playing like they have already tuned him out so there might be some additional benefit other than "just" finally assuring the fanbase the Bendord era is over. Also, did you think Benford would be back after last season?
-
First bolded portion: provides certainty that we are finally removing the albatross. Second bolded portion: I thought the same thing last season when he lost 20 games again, but this time in year 4 of a 5 year contract. He's made it this far and I won't believe he really, finally, gone until he's gone and a new head coach is hired. Buzzkill.

Was it fair to the players that almost no one went to the last home football game last season? It's not like the players had nothing to do with either situation...
