See, that is what has me worried. I am a pessimist (I used to be an optimist, but I am a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan and that will beat the optimism out of anyone). I am very excited/optimistic about the coming season, at least until my pessimism kicks in and I worry about our defense, rebounding and team chemistry. Even then, the first game of the season can't get here fast enough for me. This coming season looks to be the next big step in the right direction for a program that has been going in the right direction for some time now.

I think with Jozy out they should push Dempsey up top and start Donovan and Bedoya as the outside midfielders. They can do this with a 4-4-2 (Clint paired with Agudelo) or something more similar to the 4-2-3-1 they play against Jamaica with Clint up top and (can't believe I'm saying it) Kljestan playing behind him.

I think they did away with that last legislative session (not in force yet).

I saw a Univision replay that used a similar technology to ESPN's and that showed the ball in the goal. Additionally with the buildup to that play being so close to the goal line the AR shoudl have been in an excellent position on that call.

As an everyday commuter past this sign I know that about once a week or so the traffic here is pretty backed up, especially in the left hand lane. While it is tough to read at highway speeds morning commuters will get a chance to read it fairly often at 10 MPH.

Like NT03 said, we currently have two 'ships open, but one is beind held for Mitchell to take at the semester break leaving only really one to give.

Hmm, in that case I think he shouldn't have included Bocanegra, he is still quality enough to complete on the international level. Or put another way, is Cherundolo stalled at a high level since I doubt he will get much better?

Oh I doubt they fire him during the tournament. A loss Guadeloupe should bring about his firing, though I would think it would be delayed until after we are eliminated from this tournament.

No way Bradley keeps his job if we lose to Guadeloupe. I just don't see how that happens unless the ref loses his mind and sends off three of our players in the first 10 minutes or something.

So, just looking at that list gives me both a huge urge to see the calendar move quickly so we can get to the first home game and a bit of worry about how this team might not live up to it's promise. Ah, to be a Mean Green fan.

I would have preferred to see a 4-5-1 tried if Holden was here. Leave Bradley and Jones/Edu for defensive cover and let Holden play in the hole behind Jozy with LD and Clint on the wings.
