Actually I see lots of similarities. Both pass well and can score at will, both play the same position and show amazing athletic ability and are doing similar things in their freshman seasons (so far). Chris can get to the rim better than Josh, but that isn't exactly much of a stretch since he is probably a good 5-6 inches taller than Josh. So are you also going to say that Jordan Williams is better at getting to the rim than Chris Jones? He is, and for the same reason!

We were thinking something similar last night. Chris Jones is what Josh would have been if he was 6-1. He is very quickly becoming my favorite player. I think Jordan Williams really needs a season or two before we see what he is really capable of doing. I agree on Holmen and Alzee.

Games like this give me a renewed appreciation for our crew.

He is ready to play, for his middle school team this season. He is in the 7th grade and played baseball for me for one season, one hell of an athlete. As for that tall guy JJ should have him in a uniform by the middle of December or he should be fired!

Last night's crowd felt like one of our winter break (non-conference) crowds, size wise. Noise wise, not so with the students there though. I wasn't able to hear myself echo off the other side of the Super Pit at all last night.

You could tell it was killing Franklin not to be out there last night. I can't wait to see how that energy and emotion translates now that he can suit up!
