I agree, but I would have really liked to see him get the ball more in the first half. Dendy only had one foul at that point and was guarding Niko. Niko has plenty of faults, but he can play offense. Let him work on Dendy a bit and see if Dendy just lets him go or fouls him. Also, this was during a time we couldn't hit a jump shot for about 8-10 minutes.

Even Tony gets in on the act at the end saying he approved this message. He is having fun with it and so should everyone here. I love seeing something done to help promote the team and Tony. He is a huge draw and we may never have someone like him here again (I certainly hope not, but Tasty once said something about Tony being the highest rated recruit ever for Mizzou so that tells you how rare this is). If he stays for next year we will be a force to be reckoned with, and not just in the Belt. He is getting good grades, having fun and enjoying himself here. Let's hope that a combination of projected draft position, things he wants to work on in his game and a great, fun college experience are enough for him to stay one more year. Then he leaves as a top 10 pick and we get to see Tony Mitchell-North Texas flash up on the screen as they get ready to call his name before we welcome the next highly rated recruit since they now know for sure they can get to the NBA from here.

He is usually pretty quiet too, always a good indicator of how bad the refs are. If I yell, they missed something. If Tasty yells they have been crappy for an extended period and just blew an easy and important call. If JJ yells and throws his jacket the refs should be fired and made to walk home. Too bad that never happens.

It does matter, we have to get one of the byes. This team isn't deep enough to win four in four days. Especially since there are so many teams getting a bye this year.

Realism? Here? Don't count on it! I really hope he will stick around for at least one more year(see-even I can't help it sometimes). In the mean time I am just going to enjoy the show.

I was a Gator fan long before before we had season tickets to the men's team here. I was hoping that I would have to worry about how to handle it a couple of years ago in OKC if UNT and Florida both won. Sadly, neither did but I loved getting to see both of my favorite NCAA teams play in the big dance in person on the same day.

I prefer the ending of that game, but then I am a Gator fan.

I don't think we can win four games in four days. Maybe if we still had Jordan and CJ, but without them I just don't think we have the legs to make it all the way. With five teams getting a bye this I just don't think anyone will win it without having a bye, just too many teams that will be fresher.

So there is an event trying to promote one sport, which some people feel is in insult to another sport. The AD scheduled another doubleheader (and since they have so many of these it is much more difficult to avoid these kinds of conflicts). And all of this over our very successful men’s basketball team and the exceptional turnaround brought on by our exceptional new women's coach.

If his production falls maybe they can/will just void his contract after his next night of druken wife beating.

I want to wish them nothing but the best in getting an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. Failing that I hope they win the NIT (as they should get an auto bid for the regular season title).
