    This is the way to go for ticket giveaways I think. Give out free single game tickets to season ticket holders for other UNT sports. Kind of a cross promotion. Then you might get more season ticket holders in lesser supported sports. Using the current hardcore fan base for football is great too. Give single game tickets to season ticket holders to let them draw in more fans. Maybe old college buddies, friends from work, neighbors and what have you. Get them out and enjoying a gameday tailgating eperience and then a game. Obviously the seats likely won't be near the host season ticket holders, but they wouldn't have to and you would still get to hang with the guests pre and post game.

    So in summation, posters on this board are making fun of posters on different board making fun of the posters on this board. Both groups slap each other on the back and act smug. Both groups hate the "other guys" for smacking each other on the back and acting smug. Is it football basketball TAILGATING season yet?

    I'm not buying it. Niko got backed down in the post by almost everyone he played against last year. His offensive game is nice, and there were stretches that I wanted him on the floor to attack opposing posts who were already on foul trouble, but he seems to be the protype soft Euro big.

    Speaking of...the Denton Sam's has a really nice green polo. Good price, the "new" green color and is the light weight style that would be nice for football. I think they are around $17, though I could be wrong. I liked them so much I bought one.

    hack the opposing team at every opportunity and hope the refs just get tried of blowing the whistle. A specific example is the decleating "pick" they set in the tourney final season before last.

    I think Rick's quote only adressed cutting players that were not playing well. He did say they will release players under other circumstances.

    Heck, last season was the most dunks I have ever seen and that was with Tony, CJ and Jordan only playing a half season each. I am sooo looking forward to this coing season.

    I think he was at all but a couple of UNT games last season, he really wants to be here and his parents love it. As for filling the Pit, our row will be full again next season!

    I guess we will have to agree to disagree on HoopmanX. I waited to form an opinion of him/his posts and I found him to be more a of troll than you. There are other SMU fans on here and a decent number of them are more well recieved than hoopmanX. This has nothing to do with SMU fans, it's that he rubs too many people the wrong way. I'll take you world for it, I've never been on ponyfans. Hell, I usually don't visit boards for my beloved Gators.
