  1. I thought it was really late last year too. Maybe that was because I was anticipating it so much.
  2. I wondered that about Dempsey too. Mexico will qualify, though I think it will be as the winner of a home and home with New Zealand.
  3. Sounds like you two need to take part in the next GMG softball game! Kram might even be kind enough to send you a reminder pm during sign ups.
  4. Contracts and why both parties should honor them?
  5. Not if a conference can't provide enough eligible teams to fill all of their bowl tie-ins.
  6. It might be that those two were updated first since competition has already begun.
  7. Depends on how bad they want to fudge the numbers. "As long as I count the votes, what are you going to do about it?" Tammany Hall boss William Marcy Tweed
  8. Considering the current state of the program, yes. It should be easier to beat SFA this year. Can we? Will we?
  9. #whowasnevereligible
  10. Better than open aggression? Yes sometimes. Also, it can help make the forum more readable than having to scroll trough tons of quotes posts that on have a "+1" on the end (or a "-1")
  11. I like the plus minus ratings. There a couple other forums I visit that would be improved by the ability to note your dislike of a post without the need to get into a more public and often nasty tit for tat.
  12. Make it a ride for charity...
  13. Move in day must have been done in record time since superman, aka Brandon Walton was there.
  14. That may have worked in the past, not so sure it will work with Benford ball...
  15. So is the soccer team our best chance for a conference title in year 1? Men's golf might have something to say about that too.
  16. We are in for four tickets
  17. As long as he doesn't start putting together binders we should be safe.
  18. You said that a 1% chance a gun used in a crime was bought at a gun show (and not subject to a background check) was too high. I used your standard and applied it to the background checks on cops. I don't think private transactions between law abiding citizens should require governmental approval, especially when the transaction covers something that is specifically protected by the Constitution. You do. You and I will probably never agree on this point.
  19. 12-20 and being bounced in the first round of a pretty weak mid major conference tournament is big time hoops?
  20. There is a pretty extensive background check to become a police officer. It doesn't stop the bad apples from using guns illegally. So if background checks on cops don't work 100% why would it be any better for a private transaction between two citizens?
  21. So the next time a cop kills an unarmed individual, especially if they are not posing a threat are you going to say that 1% of bad cop shootings justifies disarming police of the weapons they choose to carry? (I mean why not just go back to revolvers, how many rounds do you really need!?) we both know police have pretty extensive background checks performed on them and that doesn't stop all of the bad apples from getting through so if we follow your logic...
  22. Were the other three suits clown suits?
  23. do you think Martin should have run away, or is your avoidance stratagem only applied to Zimmerman?
