  1. Let me get some popcorn going, this could get interesting...
  2. Might not look so bad/small in a smaller venue?
  3. History shows the NCAA hasn't always been kind to UNT...
  4. The defense gave up 10 points so we can agree they do enough to win the game. However, if you are going to argue that the blocked FG returned for a TD lost the game then by your logic you can also say offense lost the game and damn sure didn't "do enough to win the game". The pick 6 gave up almost as a many points as the defense did all game.
  5. We should have gotten him a live chicken.
  6. DT is what he is, one of those things is inaccurate. There were some great catches made today, especially early in the game. DT did seem to find a way to bring the ball down some. Maybe his arm was getting tired like a pitcher late in the game.
  7. It's not special teams fault our receivers have to jump for the ball on 75% of the passes.
  8. Agree, especially so in light of their #35 hitting DT on a slide
  9. The production of this game isn't great, but I didn't see where DT crossed the plane with the ball still in his possession. The refs didn't blow the whistle or signal TD until after Y'baro recovers the ball. After the review the ref said it was confirmed...seems like that should make it the big fella's score.
  10. I think a certain mom who posts one here is very happy right now since her boy jumped on that fumble in the end zone.
  11. It would be nice if Tulane got the 'leaving the conference' officiating we got nailed with last season. The officials are not being consistent, very tight for us and very loose for Tulane.
  12. Would be nice if when we pick up the blitz we don't overthrow an open receiver.
  13. The game is NOT on at Hooters, FYI.
  14. No, but a likely result of sex without birth control is pregnancy. Which will cause a female athlete to be unable to compete in her sport for a period of time.
  15. Only if the father was a Benford coaches player. They wouldn't know what to do if they were playing for more than a minute or two at a time.
  16. Maybe, especially if it was something that is likely to cause harm. Like getting drunk and jousting on bicycles or jumping from an upper floor into a pool or other activities that are more likely to result in injuries and are avoidable.
  17. One can't always foresee the hazards that might result in breaking a leg. I'm pretty sure everyone is aware how babies are made and how to prevent that from happening so I'm not so sure your analogy works in this case. (I don't had an opinion about this particular person or whether athletes should have a scholarship pulled)
  18. On the first hit in the BS video the hit caused a fumble. Doesn't the receiver become a runner in that play and thus not a defenseless player? I had to back it up a couple time on the Trice hit towards the end of the video since I noticed at least two BS linemen could have been called for holding...
  19. Need another option, something like neutral. The only thing I see 'wrong' with him is that he looks like Hank Hill's dad and lost his shins on O-kee-now-a.
  20. Nah, Roger was Roger. He had more playing time, but I don't think he was really improved year to year. Still a really good player (and incidentally one of our family's favorite players), but he is an energy guy and played his heart out like always. Jordan's jump shot was better towards the end of last season, something that has been credited to this coaching staff.
  21. Jordan improved, roger basically stayed the same and that's the end of the even or plus category.
  22. A Suitasaurous Tech running like hell trying to catch another recruit.
  23. "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear." (Sorry, just too inviting of an opportunity)
  24. We have reached out to the AD personally and the ticket department. Fair to say they know how we feel. Oh and Benford has a bonus in his contract for number of season ticket holders so I would say the AD would understand that statement since they put it in the contract.
