"other teams will not just be able to sag down on one guy" That probably has more to do with who the one guy will be this year. Whomever it is will not be as good as the one guy last year.

    Oh hell no. When I can convince army of mom to make pie crust, she follows my grandmother's recipe and uses lard. The crust is perfect.

    A running clock was used in this game for the second half. According to a comment posted Aledo had the ball for less than 8 minutes. The starters only played 21 snaps and the QBs only attempted 10 passes. Sounds like they tried to not embarrass their opponents as much as they could.
