  1. Don't be silly, Walton's in!
  2. I don't think so
  3. Is it it baseball season yet?
  4. No way we would need more than two suits...
  5. I think we have more students on our bench than in the student section
  6. CJ is having an ice pack shrink wrapped to his lower back area..maybe done for the game?
  7. Gaines got in, first shot was blocked. CJ left game a gingerly walked up the tunnel (back or hip?).
  8. Coleman not dressed out, Gaines is in uniform
  9. Just responding to stimuli. Pathetic results last season, not been good this season, school is out...what were you expecting? I'm kind of worried, lots of lunch pails that could trip us up today...
  10. Is Saban really out of play?
  11. Not buying it...well have an extra ticket a few times this season...you'll make another game, you have to so we won't suffer on our own
  12. One small quibble. Baylor's fan base should be much smaller than UNT. However, there were something like 68k in the stands for the tech game at Jerry World. Stadium was evenly divided and long disconnected alums are coming out of the woodwork. Winning (especially against recognizable teams) does that. UNT isn't there yet, but this season is a big first step. Besides as long as we sell our allotment and large portions of the rest of the stadium has lots of green I don't care how people got their tickets, just that they made it and they get loud.
  13. So this is just like War Games? How about a nice game of chess?
  14. No more than it is for fans that live south of it when trying to go to games on campus. Besides, if you are going to drive half way there you might as well just drive all the way there. Let's you carry more beverages and what not. If you are going with more than a couple of people the cost difference isn't that bad. This is really just a missed opportunity for DCTA to be productive. They are a money hole and this would be one small instance where they would be useful.
  15. Looks like it is starting to fade some too. Although, maybe that opens up an opportunity to repaint it.
  16. I called, but I'm starting to think about just driving all the way in. Easier to bring beverages and whatnot that way. The a train doesn't make money anyway, hard to see why service for a New Year's Day bowl would hurt them too much...
  17. This ESPN story said baker was eligible immediately. (Minnesota to Houston)http://tinyurl.com/mbkuqdq It doesn't say why, but I seem to recall that since he was a walk on he could transfer and play right away. Not sure if there are other conditions that need to be met too.
  18. DISD AD has some very nice things to say about UNT and the effort made to get apogee ready for the games on Monday. [qoute]We started working Thursday on sites, when the storm blew in, Purcell said. And the University of North Texas has been super. Some people are a little bit bothered by the parking lots and the stands and all that. But yesterday, there was four inches of snow and ice on there. In fact, at 7 oclock [Monday] morning, there were four inches of snow and ice on there. And I was out here and I watched them. They rented tractors and everything to make sure this field is playable, and Im just amazed at how good this field looks.
  19. Actually as a walk on I think he can transfer and play right away. A similar situation happened to Minnesota a few years back.
  20. Inconceivable!
  21. Holocaust cloak
  22. Cedar hill player said to have probable concussion. http://tinyurl.com/plwpnmx
  23. Sundays are typically a no-no for UIL, but they have been talked about a lot because the ice storm postponed so many games. It would allow teams a little more time to recover physically and since it is a player safety issue it could happen.
  24. Ryan game was enough for us, came home and made manicotti for dinner.
  25. 31-23 cedar hill star of the fourth
