  1. Hopefully the best watching is yet to come...
  2. Oh I thought you meant on DW for keeping his job...
  3. Is that so? 06-07 9-20 07-08 14-18 (Slinker's last year) 08-09 11-20 (Shanice is hired) 09-10 9-22 10-11 5-25 (Shanice is fired) 11-12 15-16 (Aston's only season) A one year bump after a historically bad coaching tenure does not a program on the rise make in my humble opinion. That program wasn't very good before Shanice, was Dodge level bad (comical too) with Shanice, and was still a losing program (though with better record than the previous 5 years).
  4. The Women's program wasn't in very good shape when Peterson got here so I don't consider his hire a disaster yet. Though it is concerning that his player turnover is close to Benford's.
  5. Most people here probably don't care about a wildfire on the African plains, but a big one in California or even Central Texas is sure to get their attention. Protests/riots in Seoul might get a mention on the nightly news, one in a smallish Missouri town dominates coverage for days. So how is this news story any different than all the others? Or maybe more bluntly, what's your point?
  6. Everything is a partisan issue now. Its a conditioned response. I blame the left for starting it(I'm sure some will disagree), but both sides now turn everything into a partisan battleground. I don't know if that genie will ever get put back in the bottle.
  7. if they took our complaints into consideration Benford would have joined Shanice in coaching middle school ball before last season.
  8. Also, CUSA is a better WBB conference than MBB.
  9. 100 is excessive, it's not like we are talking substitutions per half...
  10. Sure, correction is a necessary part of obedience training. I mean, you would have trained your pit, right?
  11. I disagree, I'm thinking he will cause one loss by making freshman mistakes (picks, fumble, take a bad sack, etc...). It's understandable and as long as he learns from them he (and we) will be fine in the long run.
  12. Nah, the Denton store doesn't open until the 24th.
  13. I stand corrected, it was a give up move.
  14. At first glance I thought it was a give up move (Tuesday Morning QB on ESPN would agree), but the field goal did get it to a 24 point difference so you could say it got us to three scores and not four. Yes, three TDs and 2 point conversions are pretty improbable with the time left against that competition, but being behind three scores is better than four.
  15. This staff has shown the willingness to play freshman. Is Goree really ready? I would think so, but sometimes making the jump to a new level is harder for some guys than others.
  16. Out here, the wind can push the ball to the left or right 6 to 8 inches
  17. I said the same thing about the La tech game and Greer. Greer wasn't good, but wasn't the only problem. Some of those problems are still happening. Dajon is playing better than any of the other QBs and about as well as you can expect from a RS Freshman. He will make some mistakes, but missed tackles on Defense and poor line play on both sides of the ball aren't going to be fixed by playing a better QB.
  18. That's just your Fred Scott love talking...
  19. Must have written that after the first quarter, got drunk and just barely made back on set.
