Busy on GMG would explain halftime adjustment success...

Seems logical. We have empirical evidence they aren't good at winning basketball games, they could be busy perusing GMG...

We don't have an issue with a large alumni base that doesn't make it to the home stadium?

Who said the class had to have a bunch of 4&5 star guys?

Round 2 of Facilities Improvement Started

I thought we weren't hosting any home track meets. If that's correct then you don't need a press box... -
Hmm, but is he either on scholarship or officially part of the team? I may have simplified that earlier statement a bit too much. I was thinking more in line with regular PWO or Blueshirts. Coaches can't comment until the fall on those (after enrollment or fall camo stats)

I'm not sure we didn't have any more or less stability during Mac. It certainly does seem that we will have better competition. For you and @LakeTravis Isadore is supposed to be a walk on. Coaches/schools can't comment on any recruits that's haven't signed a letter of intent or are enrolled at that school.

You said " You don't throw people out after one year - that's how bad programs are run." Tommy Perry was let go after one year in #newdenton. So you either think SL is running a bad program or you misstated your position.

Maybe you should ask tommy perry about not throwing people out after one year.

Grade the Littrell Hire V5 (First Full NSD)
Army of Dad replied to Cerebus's topic in Mean Green Football
I think you could contend that taking 3-5 win talent and getting 5 wins isn't a miracle. You could also then contend that someone who weighs that heavily is being myopic. Maybe just seriously and not personally. -
No way they were able to get all five fans to attend...

If Applewhite can talk his way out of that then he might be able to talk some recruits out of their commitments... -
Can UNT win one conference game with Benford as coach?
Army of Dad replied to UNT90's topic in Mean Green Basketball
I didn't see WB at the last game, though Mosley was there. I'd like to think WB knows there's a problem and that problem isn't limited to just how well this guy can coach. There's a major issue with how much of a passionate fanbase is left. I'd like to think he gets both of those things, but he has unfortunately not given any indication that he has realized either one. -
Just because the athletic department refuses to see the failure doesn't me we should also turn a blind eye to him.

MGB: Sunday night recruiting tidbit
Army of Dad replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
I don't necessarily agree. If we have a good recruit for our perceived level then maybe that translates. I feel that many of those kids are coming out of football factories much closer to their individual ceilings than guys for smaller schools. This is probably more true at major metropolitan 5A/6A schools. -
Or is that next year's tickets?

Could also be a question of burden of proof. They prosecutors may not feel like they have enough in some of the cases, but civil cases are a lower standard of proof.

Let's not go crazy here. Trilli did horrible, but Benford didn't have to face the same kind of schedule so much like tootsie pops, the world will never know.

But will almost surel leave the next coach some good players.

MGB late night hoops rewind: Charlotte 82, UNT 81

Also got a ton of goaltending calls. I really think that was because Sun Belt refs weren't used to seeing those kinds of plays. Also, yes those were some really fun times.
