Hit six homers and you make player of the week. A back-to-back-to-back multi-HR outing is featured in this week's #CUSASB Players of the Week! http://t.co/xDe1z85De4 pic.twitter.com/OgzGWoQvwa — Conference USA (@Conference_USA) February 9, 2015 #SCHOtime

Just scoot up the 'extra' tackles one yard and we are good to go.

Emmit: was that really a 20 year series? Just making sure that wasn't a typo...

I get where you are coming from, but these kinds of things get discussed here and Vito answers them soon thereafter.

UNT's schedule is out... We will not rest

I don't have any problem with an occasional or even regular FCS opponent. This team needs wins and as many as they can get, FCS or better yet, a badly outmatched FBS opponent will help provide that. However, a FCS can't be the only OOC home game. -
Maybe that is why he wears it. He's just such a nice kid he needs some motivation to visualize and attack.

I'm guessing he intends to coach as if his job is on the line and he isn't guaranteed anything.

Seems about right to me.

The number one thing the Pit needs to be dressed up is more banners. That will fix what's wrong with basketball attendance. -
Babe to replace Georgio on play by play?

Could Hank slide over to play by play and Babe do color? -
When Jeremy Foley brought Will Mushchamp back after the first losing season in decades he caught a lot of flack. Of course he could always just point to the 23 national titles won at Florida under his watch and count on the fans and boosters to believe he is smarter than all of them. RV has the athletic village, JJ, women's soccer, tennis, golf, and bowl games to the plus side and Benford, Shanice, Peterson, dodge, football scheduleing, and losing records in out big 3 sports on the negative side. RV has set himself up for cheap shots...

Did we sign 25 last year? (I think we an go over for that if we were under) Is you total including our UAB transfer (I think he doesn't count in the 25 either)?

Close but not quite. Soccer were regular season champs (co-champs I think) and were knocked out in the final of the CUSA tourney after Jackie Kerestine was knocked out of the game. -
I think one could fairly link the two since the inevitable subject of buy outs comes up when considering the state the programs and likely budget restrictions.

That over the top. There have been some excellent threads with great information. -
I think you know I will call it like I see it regardless of who the coach is or anything else. I say similar things about the DISD games. I recognize that they are there to pad the attendance numbers in a usually uninteresting matchup and help expose the game day atmosphere to lots of local kids. I do not consider those games to be full of hardcore or paying fans. Last night was not full of hardcore fans, but that is to be expected after the last couple of dumpster fire seasons. Like I said, it seem to me there has been a slight uptick in attendance after adjusting for visiting fans and obvious promotions fans. That's my call and I don't see it as discounting attendance as mush as recognizing what's happening. If there were that many fans there last night and 1/4 were not wearing the same giveaway shirts I would have said that too. Jordan has been playing with a fire in his belly this year and really trying to feed on the fans and give the fans something to cheer for. He has stuck through a ton of challenges both in and out of his control and is pouring his heart into his last season in the Green. I'll be there to cheer him on, he's more than earned it.

Optometrist and dribbling Hawks will up the numbers a pretty good bit. (IMO at least 1,000-maybe more) I have noticed a slight uptick in "regular" (non-visiting fans, non-special promo fans) and students as conference play has been getting rolling.
