Best College Football Stadium.... Besides Apogee
Army of Dad replied to mgfan's topic in Mean Green Football
I got to attend an Army-Navy game in DC (instead of Philly) that was awesome, but it was actually a NFL stadium and the atmosphere was what really mattered... -
So someone yelled at him and made him do pushups, boy my drill sergeant would have LOVED him...

An honest assessment of 2015 UNT Football
Army of Dad replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
Just pray you never have to watch a game coached by that staff. I know I'm thankful I won't have to watch any more. -
If McNulty makes the grade will you step down?

Is shoving a pickle up your backside the new metaphor for being a UNT fan? -
Because the majority of their fans only show up to get free chicken? (my apologies to to few civil utsa fans on here, but I couldn't couldn't help it)

I see your point, but smaller D ends aren't that much of an issue, especially in passing situations. With a decent rotation ends can be very effective and still be "small". If an undersized player is asked to do too much then you often see them breaking down physically. "Bum" shoulders on undersized DTs come to mind as one example.

Emmit's profession requires a uniform that typically includes the wearing of a badge and a gun.

As a frequent tailgate crasher I'll be happy to take part in the judging. The tailgate scene is a major bright spot and I've always managed to have a good time along with anyone I've dragged along with me.

Gary Patterson Foundation fundraiser at Joe T's
Army of Dad replied to UNT90's topic in Mean Green Football
it's not just you, it's how we came to be UNT fans. -
Getting out of the area is one of our big concerns so we don't go sit in the stadium. I know there was not a cop at the Bonne Brae/NB frontage road intersection. There usually is someone there to direct traffic and it needed it again this year. If other intersections were also unmanned that might explain your traffic troubles.

How often do you see a mass exodus of players and two of those players speak out about the way they were treated? It isn't very often. Combine that with Kee's history (and don't forget about her assistant) and the way Vito covered this exodus and that adds up to a pretty concerning conclusion. Vito was (and still is) vicious towards Dodge. Vito has been way nicer towards Benford and since Benford has had serious roster churn during his tenure you might expect the same treatment towards Kee, but then Vito gives us this article. This could be a case of where there's smoke there's fire.

Women's World Cup
Army of Dad replied to KRAM1's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
You don't think they've done enough to redeem themselves for all the war crimes they committed? -

If Japan wins then we get a rematch and shot at redemption from four years ago. -
It sounds like Coach Kee should be counting the days she has left here. If Vito wrote that piece there is something to the allegations. Vito has handled Benford with kid gloves and it looks like he's going to give Kee the same treatment he gave Dodge...

The Statesman Interview: SMU coach Chad Morris
Army of Dad replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
Like I said, is rather just have a beer with them. I even brought a SMU fan with me to the game last year (and several GMG members were gracious enough to let us crash their tailgates).- 13 replies

SMU Announce 2017 &19 home and home with Ark State
Army of Dad replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
Why do you believe that RV wouldn't schedule additional away paycheck games? I don't know that he would do it every year, but I doubt he wouldn't take the quick money. He's done it before, he'll do it again. -
Women's World Cup
Army of Dad replied to KRAM1's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
I didn't get to watch the entire game so my comments on the yellows should be taken with a grain of salt because I don't have a feel for how the ref was doing in the early going. However, I thought she did a very good to great job in the second half, and from the replays I saw I think she got all the cards right. The game kind of reminded me a USMNT game against a good creative side and it didn't look like a game where the U.S. was playing against 10. Credit to Columbia for doing what they could. -

While I would prefer to have a beer fest style competition with SMU fan, an Anchorman style fight would end with lots of pink polos covered in pony blood. (Yes, I intentionally used the singular fan) (No way we lose a beer fest competition with @Thor in green, but I would rather just have a beer with them and call it a nice day)- 13 replies
