The best player on the team openly said the environment was so toxic it made her lose her love for the game. She is not transferring to play her senior year, but rather staying here and will pay her own way. I see that you're all in with Coach Kee, that's fine so long as you understand that others aren't and have good reason to feel that way.

How uncommon is it to have a coach fired from a job in very similar circumstances that appear to be repeating here?

Recruiting talk isn't about this season. It's usually not even about next season very much, but 2-3 seasons down the line. -
If we are comparing coaching salaries from different eras and comparing tuition afforded to scharlaship athletes from different eras then we are talking about value.

Planning watch parties outside of Texas?

you have to type the '@' and the start of their names and wait for the system to suggest them and then select the one member you want. @BeanCounterGrad'03 @UNTFan23- 4 replies

Items like @GMG24 posted aren't uncommon. I know Florida's coach will tweet Chomp Chomp when they get a new verbal. In keeping with the rules he never comments on who committed until the player signs his LOI. -
The value (in dollars) of the education has also risen dramatically.

MGB: Chad Hedlund, son of UNT coach John Hedlund, now at SMU
Army of Dad replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
yeah, though it's not that unusual for a family member to cheer for their son and another team at the same time. I seem to recall a couple of people wearing a jersey that was seen together from two halves, one from each school. -

I think he'll keep both for qualifying. Beckerman seems to have been one of his favorites for a while and both still provide value over the next couple of years. -
Skip Holtz think North Texas will be improved

Just more coach speak. -
OK, but should the tarp say 'North Texas' or have a giant SOW on it? What about some stickers for INTs, fumble recoveries, or one for every Trevor Moore FG?

Klinsmann is under contract to be the coach through the next World Cup. He is preparing for that tournament. -
@GreenTexan13 I doubt we would see a sell out for a conference championship game. The game would be on short notice and fans wouldn't really have time to plan attending, especially for those outside of the area. Also, the visiting school wouldn't bring that many fans because nearly all of their fanbase will be from outside the area. A championship game would be well attended, but I think we have too far to climb to teach a sell out.

UAB Football - $6mil pledged to reinstate football
Army of Dad replied to Aldo's topic in Mean Green Football
Disagree. It's tough on the players, but they have already moved on. For those who couldn't find another place to play I wouldn't mind allowing them an extra year to play their four (like a hardship waiver) if they return to UAB to play. -

Sun Belt commissioner: Cut back on 'money' games vs. Power 5
Army of Dad replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
The problem with that is we are already projecting out a good number of years for future opponents. What's our first schedule opening, 2020? So I guess the real question is there a belief that we will be a winning team over the next 5 years to put us in the position you describe?- 21 replies

MGB: Full UNT men's basketball schedule
Army of Dad replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Didn't he win a game at the conference tourney in his second year? I'm pretty sure he did so that means he's used all four by now. -
We are cleaning out the little girl's closet and we have 3 'Mean Green Basketball' shirts that have been gently used. These are youth medium and were given to our daughter when she was sweeping on game days. We also have one adult small (but really more of an extra small. It says North Texas basketball and has the SOW on the front with sponsors on the back. It is a faded green and the printing is krinkled. We will just donate these if there aren't any takers. Again, these are free I'll happily meet you in Denton if you like.
