  1. One possibility is that the software saves your progress. If you don't post for some reason then any subsequent quote in the same thread brings the old post back to you. It also seems to merge two posts if made back to back. Or it really is something up with posting from an iPad.
  2. One might get west Nile while hunting for birds, but not from eating them.
  3. Breasted out, season with salt and pepper, wrap in bacon with various fillings and you'll do way better than batter frying it.
  4. Watch the periscope videos, he is an innacurate passer. He puts balls in the wrong place if he hits his man. That can be corrected, but it must be before he should see serious time on the field in a game.
  5. You know, it's not exactly unheard of for teams (pro and collegiate) to move games around on their schedules for other important events. For example, most Pennsylvania teams try to avoid home games on the opening weekend of deer season. I seriously doubt that Ohio or the directional Michigan schools don't worry about the Michigan-Ohio State weekend. Basically, your premise that other schools don't worry about things/teams outside of their own team is flawed. RV need to do better with the schedule in terms of opponents, number of home games, and how the season plays out. To say otherwise is silly.
  6. Shouldn't you be sad as well?
  7. I would guess suspension. Half game or something like that. The arrest is bad, but the charge doesn't seem to be too bad. The other thing that hurts him is that it happened while he was out after curfew.
  8. I seem to recall that this is based off of numbers the schools have already reported for several years. Numbers that had nothing to do with athletics. I suspect that some of the big boys out there will begin to change their reporting starting this year so they can give more in the future.
  9. Probabky more to the story in those cases, but like I said earlier the officer has to be able to ID a person before allowing a person to sign a citation. I'm not certain, but if a person was arrested for warrants on their traffic offense then that may be the charge shown.
  10. Nah, we should be good without it.
  11. Very good chance it's something like PI or other minor issue. You can't sign a citation if your are intoxicatedz it could also be something simple as not having ID on him. While you do not need ID to be in public the officer will need it before citing you and you sign your promise to appear. If Jimmy didn't have ID then the officer has to cut him loose or arrest him to allow the judge to deal with it. Unless there is more to the story this shouldn't turn out any different than a traffic ticket.
  12. Correction: he will have to check out of a run because you know that's what will be called on 1st down. (And 2nd and maybe even 3rd) ;)
  13. eh, what is he 5th-6th string? Just be happy they aren't cutting it out when Smith and Mini Mac are throwing.
  14. Beating the Mini Mac drum is fine so long as he shows dramatic improvement on the game field. If he fails to do that then the season is certain to go downtown flames and the coaches are sure to hear about it.
  15. We will bring approximately one metric sh*t ton more fans than they brought to Denton last year.
  16. I was just in the Denton Academy last night. They have some nice UNT gear on clearance and some nice new stuff to take its place. A couple of notable items are a very large shade tent in school colors and (I think) 'Mean Green' on the tent. I seem to recall some folks wanting that kind of pop up. The tent is big (maybe 10x10, but I didn't measure) and is $129. Also, they have a pretty good sized stock of North Texas bag chairs.
  17. JJ used line style substitutions. The difference is that he didn't jerk players in and out of the game in 30-60 second intervals outside of specialized end of game situations.
  18. As much as I hate Benford's Buzzsaw approach I doubt that was the case this time. If it later turns out he did Mo like he did Trey Norris then I'll be upset.
  19. Gaines...did he have eligibility left? He was a grad transfer I think, but I think he was hurt earl it in is career so maybe he could have been eligible for a hardship waiver or he graduated faster than most.
  20. You can't get everyone to agree on everything so I'm sure there could be someone who doesn't think Mark is tirelessly working to help the university, but you would have to look far and wide to find them. (And then figure out what the hell is wrong with them!)
  21. Like some of the players with eligibility left gooing pro during Benford's tenure? (Though maybe it was just Coleman)
  22. Yeah we just got our renewal notice on Saturday. I avoided saying anything to avoid thinking of more Benford ball from the front row...
  23. Anything as deep as that is sure to involve @Cerebus so I fixed it for you.
