I don't think 90 or James said that all players would spend the money all at once. I think it's reasonable to be concerned about giving them all the money at one time because some of them may "blow it".

So regimented of a program that they would never be out after curfew, or waking out of Walmart without paying, or evading arrest/detention, or drinking and driving, right? Just because you know or knew very responsible 20 year olds then we can, according to your line of thinking, assign that same very responsible character to all 85 football players and the hundreds of other athletes that will be receiving COA payments.

I think we are full right now and I doubt Benford brings in a player who can't play thise season. I know having a full roster has never stopped Benford before, but he's probably gone after this season so I don't think a player who has to sit a year is an option for Benford or for any potential incoming transfer.

Maybe you should watch the periscope videos when they come out. You can see the SMU helmet being used for motivation in certain drills. I believe Mac has changed his tune about SMU.

Vito was fairly critical of the softball mass exodus and Coach Kee, the most critical I recall him being since Dodge. He has handled Benford with kid gloves and been pretty willing to parrot the company line in football so that should have counted for something.

A winning season under Benford would certainly be unprecedented.
