Texas A&M Paying UNT $1.25 Million for 2020 Game
Army of Dad replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
Texas team, most likely not top tier SEC team and a significantly higher fee. Not really my preferred way of doing it, but slightly better then RVs been doing. -
Middle Tennessee Schedules Series With Mizzou
Army of Dad replied to James329's topic in Mean Green Football
100% certain...that's a way higher standard than we hold people to around here. Were you 100% certain that Mrs. MGT would even give you the time of day when you first talked to her? If you demand 100% certainty 100% of the time... The other way of looking at it is that since RV is better than Helwig we would replace RV with someone better than him. That is the curve we are on, right? -
Where would you spend the 5.5 Million @SuperPit?
Army of Dad replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Oh, add that to the list. The players lounge needs some serious improvement. That would help us look more on par with the competition when it comes to recruiting. I know @TheWestie has mentioned this before. -
J-Mychal, Deaundre and Ja'Michael shooting in the gym
Army of Dad replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Eh, I sat behind her during Jordan's first game @ UTA. She knows how to be negative. That said, I would never recommend family members interact with fan boards while their kid/sibling/cousin/whatever is still an active player.- 25 replies

Those cold fronts are dual edged sword. If one hits during game day you'll likely see at least one flag blown down and 1-2 tents collapse, blown away...

This is good, we will probably wear our whites that game. Could be a few extra INTs coming our way that day!

Then your kids have the wrong kind of pajamas. Put some green on 'em! (unless those are their favorite jammies and will only o to bed and stay in bed if they are wearing them, in that case carry on)

I think Craig James had dibs on it.

A reminder to coaches closing practices to outsiders
Army of Dad replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
There's a reason why people want the back up QB, it's because the starter sucks. Do you think Oregon fans were calling to have Mariota's back up to be the starter? -
Big mistake by our coaching staff....

He's still here, right? It's going to nearly impossible to have any discussion of the Men's program or North Texas basketball in general without that four suited albatross being central to the conversation. Other than the media row thing (not saying it's wrong I just don't care about it as much) I can't really add anything to that list. A nice team store would make a huge difference in look and feel of the building. That might be my favorite part of your list assuming it's done right. -
You continually use the argument that you aren't a city kid and then spout nonsense about guns. I think you've seen a lot of idiot behavior because you know and hang out with a lot of idiots. I rarely see that behavior and call game wardens on the rare occasions I have. You do realize that an AK pattern rifle in its "native" chambering is ballistically very similar to a .30-30, right? In your vast rural experience have you ever known people to effectively use a .30-30 to ethically harvest deer, hogs or other similar game animals? .223 is a bit light for deer, though it's certainly can work. It's great for varmints, does work on hogs, and is an excellent self defense round with the right ammo. In a modern sporting rifle (improperly labeled 'assault rifle') it's an excellent system and caliber for a multitude of uses. You can use antiquated technology if you like, but you should understand many people want more modern equipment.

Ashley Madison Breech

PPS too exclusionary to S's!? Typical liberal logic. /sarcasm -
I tend to think that school of thought died when George W. was in office. With the way the left treated that president it took down that prohibition more than any other time (at least modern times). The other side naturally sees a chance to pay back the insults now. I don't see how the current political climate will allow a return to being more respectful of that office anytime soon.

Lance Dunbar: ‘I will never forget where I came from’
Army of Dad replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
Were he unable to check himself, would he then wreck himself? -
I believe Oakman was kicked out of Penn St, though I do not recall what the issue may have been, and Baylor has been pretty successful with that transfer. It could have allowed their risk tolerance to grow or remain high.

very courageous of him, isn't it?

UNT vs. UTA scheduled for Dec 3rd
Army of Dad replied to That_Guy_Arlo's topic in Mean Green Basketball
^^^^ This. Also, I will second the depressing feeling about the Pit's atmosphere. I REALLY miss how that place could get loud and rocking during big games.
