  1. *golf whisper* (1)MeanGreenTexan is attempting to use the pay up or shut up ploy. Not sure it's going to work. (2)Yes, isn't it really just the same strategy his opponents are using-complaining? (1)It looks like that, let's see how it goes for him...
  2. Rick Villareal
  3. +1
  4. Hmm, that or meet at Ojeda's in Lewisville...
  5. He has two left on his deal. He will presumably be fired during/after this season so we only have to buy out one year.
  6. Possible, but the lanes are more narrow than normal right now and there isn't much of shoulder (or no shoulder for some stretches). Those could contributing factors for the wrecks of course, but the road as is isn't really safe for higher speeds.
  7. Pretty sure he was hurt his second year here and took a redshirt.
  8. In that scenario then why not "just" RV and Benford? That would allow the new AD to hire his MBB coach (and let's be honest, RV's hiring track record isn't great so we wouldn't want to saddle the new AD with another one of his hires). After paying two buyouts Mac is safe for now, but a new AD might inspire him to coach as if his job is on the line. All hypothetical and it isn't like I have the money to influence it unless the lottery commission finally gets those numbers right.
  9. There is a speed limit change before Corinth Parkway (2nd exit past Swisher-where you will see some of the cheaper gas in the area). The new limit is 55. I haven't seen anyone actively enforcing it yet, but better safe than sorry for those of you who may not have been up to Denton recently. That same area has a lane switch as well-nothing too bad, just different than most folks may remember. Additionally, multiple exit and entrance ramps have been relocated.
  10. Are you sure that's a good idea?
  11. The buffalo ran on 1st & 2nd downs. That was on 3rd & 8.
  12. If you don't live close by let me know and if you want and they will allow it I'll go by the ticket office and get them on Friday. We can arrange a time Saturday to get you the passes before you need them.
  13. It happens. Almost no one else had to have a bye week to start the season. There's probably a good reason why...
  14. It's simple: Park at Eastside, catch the shuttle, walk to ticket office, shuttle back to Eastside (no drinking-no matter how much you want to), drive to the stadium, park, tailgate, go back to stadium and watch football.
  15. If you go on a per game basis we are 101 in defense and 123 in offense.
  16. Is the guy in the blue shirt Chico?
  17. I don't think Morris puts mini-Mac on the field so your argument is invalid.
  18. I thought you would get a banned wagon going after a loss like SMU...
  19. pretty sure @Lurker meant the kids at a high school game.
  20. Maybe, but I don't think so. In the first picture you posted there is a pennant hung below the SMU flag. In the picture from the above quote all flags are hanging limp and the pennant is not easily visible, but I think that is why their flag appears to be longer (and thus larger) than the U.S. Flag. Based on two photos (taken from what, 100 yards away?) it appears to me that SMU is actually following the rules.
  21. Not sure yet, but I'm trying to convince AoM to go to the game... Think of it like you are the flag and you are looking out. Either away from a building or from a wall (say a flag displayed behind a judge's bench or if the flag is draped down a wall the blue field will be on it's right-again as if you had your back to the wall)
  22. I think they can be at the same height so long as the U.S. Flag is accorded the position of honor on the (flag's) right. If one of those three poles was taller then the U.S. Flag should be flown on the pole. ETA: http://www.usflag.org/flagetiquette.html When flown with flags of states, communities, or societies on separate flag poles which are of the same height and in a straight line, the flag of the United States is always placed in the position of honor - to its own right...The other flags may be smaller but none may be larger...No other flag ever should be placed above it...The flag of the United States is always the first flag raised and the last to be lowered.
  23. Oh, was there an executive order to fly them at half staff all weekend? You can fly them at full staff if the flag pole is not tall enough to allow half staff display respectfully, but the flags in the pic appear to be the correct size to allow half staff display.
  24. What am I missing?
  25. Thanks for posting. I do not think you need to worry about us having a deep passing game.
