Thankfully there was a giant hole on that run because he took a long time to make his way through it. Torrey has better speed, but I feel Smith gets going quicker. Unfortunately it seems he only gets the chance to run outside the tackles. Not sure how 12 yards on 8 carries before that is a beast.

Just a comment about the thought some have that it doesn’t matter that the football team will not win the conference this year. That it’s okay because they are 6-2. Congrats to the Ladies Soccer team! Championships are a great success.

But why when they’re 6-2?

I guess when the season is lost you have to turn to revenge aged 10 years.

After week 8 it's concluded we may end up 2nd in the West. That doesn't make you grumpy?

So everyone is okay that we are 2-2 in conference, good enough for 4th in the West? All because we are 6-2 overall? Three goals: Win Division, Win Conference, Win Bowl. Two of those aren't going to happen, and you're lying to yourself if you are confident in the third happening. WE ARE FOURTH IN CUSA WEST. STOP BEING HAPPY.

LaTech might lose their land to LSU. However, what I expect to happen is: 1: LSU claims Alaska/Washington from Auburn 9/15 2: LaTech claims Alaska/Washington/SE Louisiana from LSU 9/22 3: NT claims Alaska/Washington/NW-SE Louisiana/SW Arkansas from LaTech 9/29

It makes me sad that for the next 24 hours I will have watched more SMU football this season than Mean Green football.
