  1. Wait. You thought I was serious? You really are clueless.
  2. As a resident of either Southlake, Grapevine or Keller over the past 20+ years I feel it is my duty to let you know we don't think you are not good enough because you don't live in a "McMansion". You're not good enough because you are MF'n obnoxious. Newsflash - other teams aren't going to be intimidated by students, especially when the main attack is a potty word. Secondly, I like my bubble. The first time my two sons hear the f-bomb, it's going to be from me. You don't have the right to take that paternal privilege from me. Finally, my wife used to teach in Watauga. So not all of us feel that way. Some of us try to help them folk.
  3. So if there's twelve D-1 schools in Texas, this is probably a bad thing?
  4. I believe you are in the Grandbury area. Hope everything is good. That goes for any one else in the path of the storms. Go Mean Green!
  5. I hate myself for coming back into this thread after 4 days.
  6. Here's my list (I was wrong I'm at 23, forgot about Minn. until right before I hit "Post"). With a couple notes for flavor: 1. Turner Field: Favorite team, awesome ballpark, best pretzels 2. Yankee Stadium (old): Saw Red Sox v Yankees, the Derek Jeter into stands bloody face game – actually left before that happened (had to get to Hershey, PA) 3. AT&T Park: Beautiful as OGS stated, was there when Bonds was somewhere around 750 – standing room only in right field when he bat 4. Angel Stadium: Not pretty but an exciting atmosphere (year after WS) 5. Camden Yards: No other park is as beautiful, saw the cycle 6. Citizen's Bank 7. Busch Stadium (old): Great atmosphere - was at Cubs v Cards. First game for McGwire after his big injury. Came off the bench and jacked a homer into Big Mac Land. Neat-o. 8. Ballpark in Arlington: We all know about this one 9. Minute Maid Park: Loved it because you could see NL baseball close, now not so much 10. Coors Field 11. PNC Park 12. Bank One 13. Dodger Stadium: It’s been 20 years, need to get back 14. SkyDome 15. Oakland Coliseum: Yuck, but I have a picture of me in my Rangers jersey with the Oakland Elephant. Garlic Fries FTW! 16. Qualcomm 17. Tropicana Fied: Wife and I may have been the only people there, parked third row – for free 18. Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome: Gross 19. Miller Park: Tour only 20. Wrigley Field: Walked around it, heading there this season Others, gone but been to replacement so not on list: Memorial Stadium Fulton-County Stadium Arlington Stadium
  7. I'm in the same boat as you, have a 4.5 and a 2 year old. I am making it to Wrigley this summer though! Last new one I've been to was PNC back when the 4.5 was a little under 2. I'm suprised it's your top, but that's probably because right after we sat down the Pirates hit back-to-back-to-back homers. The crowd scared the bejeebus outta my boy. We didn't get to stay long. It is beautiful though. Are you listing aesthetically only, or total experience?
  8. I'm at 22 (a few not around anymore) and I gotta say Minute Maid Park is a nice place to watch a game, definitely better than Oakland. I imagine the product and crowd has something to do with this report. The Ballpark was not very enjoyable in the early-aughts.
  9. Can I get a refund on the Abbe jersey I purchased at last year's Spring Game?
  10. Just to make sure everyone knows. That is not the real Lonnie Finch.
  11. I make a joke about Swiss Army knives and I am informed America and Switzerland have different cultures and am given a history lesson in 1930's-1940's Europe. I love you Internetz.
  12. Nobody screws with Switzerland. Just sayin'.
  13. As a student of Southlake-Carroll High from '92-'96, I can assure you we were not a powerhouse or close to phenomenal for the six years prior Dodge. Early-Eighties to Mid-Nineties, sure. Outside of the Ledbetter and Dodge years, success hasn't been easy.
  14. Maybe because we are a public Univeristy in the same region as them? Surely you understand why they would want to make us look bad. P.S. The series has been good to both of us.
  15. Last thing I read said UTA had a specific date and we're open to moving. They won't. Regardless, its all a show from them to try and make us look bad. Good on them.
  16. No specific date had been set for the game. The have one date they want to play it on. This is just their attempt at showing off their big boy pants.
  17. I know a few of you started complaining before there was any information about this, but are some of you actually arguing that playing UTA is a better decision than playing in the Coaches v Cancer tournament?
  18. You people make me sad
  19. He won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 1979 for The Deer Hunter.
  20. Brew Your Own!
