    Why are we going to Miss State? Did we not just do that? I wish they'd come here. If LSU can, I see no reason why Miss State can't...they are no Duke or even a Gonzaga...just my two cents.

    Actually, this looks to be a GREAT move. As a freshman, he was able to come off the bench and score 8 points, 7 rebounds, and nearly 2 assists. Nearly a double double. Ain't to shabby. Plus, that does not even explain the intangibles that a 6'10 250 pounder has, especially in the paint. Lastly, it doesn't hurt that he is one of the Top 25 Juco players in the nation.

    Hey, why don't you show a little respect and stop acting like a 12 year old. We are the flagship school of the University of North Texas System. We go by UNT, North Texas, or the University of North Texas. We don't go by UNT-Denton, North Texas State, NTSU, or anything else you'd like us to go by. How hard is it to be cordial? Yes "Green Light To Greatness" is our new slogan. I'm not terribly fond of it, but it's ours, and no worse than "Pony Up." Even if some magical new conference were to arise out of the Big East Conference ashes, you honestly think we wouldn't be considered? You're delusional. Also, wouldn't it be fun to start scheduling basketball games between UNT-SMU? Hopefully we can meet next year...I think it would be a pretty good matchup (sarcasm).

    From some probably unreliable sources. I think he just didn't enjoy playing football anymore. Which, if true, makes sense. I mean with a great stadium, improving team, and a chance to play in C-USA for two seasons...I don't know why someone would transfer to sit out a year. Unless he's thinking FCS., which wouldn't make much sense either.
