  1. McNabb, Portis, Willie Parker, Larry Johnson, and Santana Moss? Sounds like a winning team. It's 2005, right?
  2. The Opening Day win was great, but there was cause for concern. The Rangers still swung and missed WAY too much and Feldman, though he pitched well, showed that according to last year's BABIP he was very fortunate last year. I'm still very excited for the year, but I would be surprised if they make the playoffs. Fingers crossed.
  3. Am I the only one who looks back at Rodge's stats and is completely underwhelmed? I feel that when watching the games he put up much better numbers than this. And this is coming from a guy who referred to him as Jay Cutler minus the diabetes.
  4. 8 of these points may be correct, but he definitely is hungry. I see him eating at Bruce all the time.
  5. Forget QBs! 10 lineman + Dunbar taking snaps= BCS birth
  6. This is how Penthouse entries start.
  7. The only soreness in Riley's arm should be from patting Lance Dunbar on the back when they give him the ball 25-30 times a game.
  8. (looks around) knox knox knox knox KNOX KNOX KNOX KNOX!!!!
  9. Expecting 4, but it could be 6. (Reads other posts) Wait, I thought this was the Rodge injury thread.
  10. If it was a one time thing I would accept it, but my friend who goes to K State says he does it all the time.
  11. I agree, but he didn't need to pull the wipe the floor bull against our guys. No need to rub salt in a wound.
  12. And Jay Bilas said there was no parity in the NCAA.
  13. Can mop the floor with his tears. Jerk.
  14. Makes me want to get a prostate exam.
  15. I completely agree. Tramiel leaving will help turn Tristan into a star in the Belt. Now that Eric has left we need a #1 scoring option and I think the ability for Tristan to get to the basket and shoot from range makes him the premiere player for that role. At times he gets out of control and gets frustated easily, but he really showed in the Belt tourney that when it comes to crunch time he has ice in his veins. I think he and George should be 1st team All Sun-Belt at year's end.
  16. I didn't see enough from Holmen to deserve a starting spot barring a great offseason. He had flashes, but wasn't consistent enough to get big time minutes. That being said I think he should be the first forward off of the bench next year. Do we know how Kendrick's recovery is going and if he will be 100% at the beginning of next year?
  17. Josh makes our offense go, plain and simple. I understand there will be a lot of Romoesque Josh White questioning after his poor performances in both the Sun Belt and NCAA tourneys, but he is the glue that makes this team work. He can penetrate in the Belt, outside of it maybe not so much, but most of our games are against teams where he can take over with his scoring ability or driving and kicking to the other guys. Knowing the kind of work ethic Josh has I'm sure he will go into the offseason with a chip on his shoulder after his poor performance down the stretch and bring a new fire and intensity into next season. As far as Shorter goes I'm not convinced he is a guy who needs to log major minutes. He was a streaky player throughout the season and at times would try to take over the game as if he was this teams #1 option. Case and point in the Kansas State game, George sat down and the game started getting out of hand. Shannon gets the ball, drives to the hoop, clangs the runner hard off of the glass, and whines to the ref about a no foul call instead of getting back on defense. I think the best 5 for this team next year (the 2 position can be altered according to match-up) Josh White Dominique Johnson Tristan Thompson Alonzo Edwards George Odufuwa
  18. Our little secret is out of the bag.
  19. Eric Tramiel. He'll need a job. Also: According to this UNT assistant Bill Foy was a candidate for the Texas-Pan American job and, at least for next year, I wouldn't mind to promote from within. I know this is crazy, but Avery Johnson attended a North Texas game this year. Way out of our price range to get him out of his cushy ESPN gig/potential NBA coaching jobs, but it's food for thought.
  20. I would love to see JJ stay for, at least, next year to send the senior class out with a great season. That being said Johnny needs to do what is best for him and if that means jumping ship I wont hold it against him.
  21. Thread Spell Count: Holmen: 13 Holman: 9 Intelligence wins out in this thread despite a strong charge from stupidity.
  22. The Dodge family was supposed to sit in the first row, but they sputtered out around row 40.
  23. Does all the potential upsets make KSU more aware to focus on us or does it put extra pressure on them not to lose?
  24. All lower seeds are leading right now. I don't know if this is good or not.
