Now there are reports of Griffey crying over the incident. More importantly, what the hell Ron Washington? Apparently Wash forgot to warm up Feliz prior to the 9th yesterday and sac bunted the guy hitting over .400 with RISP with runners on first and second with no outs in the 5th inning. Is it time to fire Ron Washington? IT'S TIME!

Someone double check this guy:

I saw the first 70 minutes of this movie, and it is as awesome as you hoped it would be and more. It's not a kid's movie that parents should take their children to go see, it is just a damn good movie. The rest of my upcoming movie excitement goes to: Buried (September so not really a "summer movie") The Last Airbender MacGruber Winnebago Man Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

Mavs Playoffs

Dan Crawford is the head ref for tonights Mavs-Spurs game. The Mavs are 1-15 with him as a ref during the Mark Cuban era. -
There is always room for some tomfoolery, even you worked in the word bamf into your comment. I will be taking part in the KSK live draft chat and anyone who desires to chuckle and ignore Berman tell the same jokes he has for 29 years should do the same. On the draft there is no way the Cows are taking Taylor Mays. The people who study the league rather than the team are picking him at 27, but those close to Valley Ranch know that they will not touch Mays. The Cowboys are going to trade out of the first round, because that's what Double J does. I have no basis for this, but maybe Pete Carroll will want to get in on Mays for a second and a swap of third rounders. What this team needs is a tackle. Unfortunately none of the tackles that will be available will warrant a first round pick.

Ncaa On Verge Of 68-Team Men's Tournament
MEANGREENMAN! replied to MEANGREENMAN!'s topic in Mean Green Basketball
Yes, four play in games for the 16 seed. I like this much better than 96, but it might only be temporary, the NCAA seems really intent on expanding it to 96. Another interesting thing about the article is that now all games will be shown live on different networks. This will prevent the hair pulling that goes along with cutting back and forth between 3 different games. To be able to sit and watch one game uninterrupted will be bliss. -
Story here.

I'm not going to bury the season until we play more divisional games. McCarthy and Holland are pitching lights out right now in OKC and I still feel good about us matching up against the other teams in my division. Maybe I'm being naive. Maybe I'm trying to justify the 600 dollars I spent on a ticket package. Maybe with expectations lowered maybe guess will stop pressing and play like they are truly capable of. Maybe I'm just stupid, but I'm not ready to quit on this team just yet.

Not Taylor Mays, not Taylor Mays, not Taylor Mays. Right now I'm ready for all DFW pro sports coaches to be canned and if Jerry works his magic and trades first and second round picks to end up with 25 7th rounders like he always does I may explode. Personally I like Devin McCourty out of Rutgers if the Cows stay put, but I think they should probably move up and out.

As long as we are talking about adding a baseball (100,000% for this, I would try to walk on) die to Title XI we would need to add a girl's sport. I think a gymnastics team would be a wonderful addition to UNT Athletics. Do you know how many Division I girls gymnastics teams there are in Texas? Zero. In fact the only school with any gymnastics program is DII TWU (who has won national championships). If you think about the great Olympic gymnasts in the past Summer Games most are from WOGA in Plano. Gold medalists Nastia Liukin and Carly Patterson were both from the North Texas area and tons of North Texas gymnasts go all across the country for the chance to compete in college (my sister hi tailed it to Alaska). If we the athletic department is looking to add a new sport that has the potential to do well on a national scale I think the conversation should begin and end with women's gymnastics. I know this comment should probably be in a different thread, but this way it may actually get read. And... ummmm.... gymnastics chicks are hot and we need more hot chicks! /man card saved

Dez Bryant To The Cowboys?
MEANGREENMAN! replied to KRAM1's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
Jerry doesn't like taking WRs early and I bet he won't even fall to the Cows. A first round pick on a third receiving option is not as pressing a need as tackle or safety. -

They don't. -
Beneath the hype of the Cowboys and Rangers lies DFWs most consistent team. How does a team who has won 50 games 10 years in a row get overlooked? By never quite being good enough. The hooplah around the Rangers this year was based around the drastic changes that happened last year, but the most likely championship team in DFW is the boring old Mavs. Last night's win was fueled by Dirk Nowitzki's 36 points and 12-14 shooting from the floor on Sunday. Probably the most exciting thing I read about the Mavs this year was this: With the Mavs in high gear and the Lakers struggling down the stretch is this finally the year?

I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to be an Orioles fan. After years of terrible management and decisions from the top they are finally getting everything together. Wieters, Matusz, Adam Jones, and Markakis are great young players, but even if they all reach their potential they could still lose 90 games a season because of their division. I hate the idea of floating realignment, but if I was in Baltimore I would have my lips all over Bud Selig's clenched buttocks.
