An important message from RV regarding HOD tickets
Ret Faculty Fan replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
If you buy them directly from UNT then we get credit for the ticket sale. Our sales are important for future bowl games.- 74 replies

Last week he indicated he should be back by the middle of December.

The game should be over at or shortly after 9:00. Since the lane closures are not suppose to start until 9:00pm I would think you would be better served to stay on I35

Sun Belt Basketball Tournament Ticket Books on sale
Ret Faculty Fan replied to GreenBat's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Sun Belt ticket packets are available from the UNT Ticket office for $90. -
Gateway makes sense anyway because there is a key Women's basketball game at 7:30 this evening. It makes getting to the game much easier than if we were at Apogee.

A great first post and one that should be taken to heart. It is painful to log on for information and be flooded with so much trivia and multiple comments that don't offer well thought out observations or suggestions for making things better. Perhaps sthe Board leadership should put up a complaint forum and let those who simply want to treat the board like a text message give and take play on that forum.

Great Food Tomorrow Night In The Green Room

The gymnastics area is being used for all the Men's games this year. -
Expect much of the exposed steel to be covered with signage - advertising etc, much like we have at Fouts

When We Have To Expand New Stadium For Either...
Ret Faculty Fan replied to PlummMeanGreen's topic in Mean Green Football
Double decking the student side and filling in the gaps is exactly right. The suites are a likly possibility. I asked RV this question when we were viewing the stadium progress last month. -
I would have to agree that that is one of the least informative pieces of consulting work I have ever seen. Hopefully they got something else that is not being shared. Perhaps this is something that was needed to get more funding approved. otherwise I see no purpose in what was presented.

Single game tickets are now on sale at the UNT ticket office.

I thin this is an opportunity to add a considerable number of mid-majors who now get beat out by the so called power conferences. You are likely to find the whole tournament even more exciting.

The event is clearly a marketing tool. The only downside is you will probably receive promotional materials from Park Place Lexus - who are big UNT boosters. Still, I expect you will get some good football insight.

Talked with Wright Waters early in Hot Springs and he was particularly concerned about the strength of schedule issue. He is fully aware we need to do a better job as a conference in this area. Money and perceptions remain an issue for most conference schools.

Scheduling frustrates the coaches too. We are good enough to scare top tier teams, but not quite yet to the level of a "good loss." If things fall right this year that may change in future years. We also need to find a way to step up attendence bothy paid and student in order to be able to offer "money" games.

The medical redshirt for DJ is essentially automatic because he participated in less than the specified percentage of games during the season.

You ticket will give you the right to go between both courts when two games are in progress on Saturday and Sunday. Thus there is no reason to believe that there will be any reserved seating (as there was not last year) or any advantage to having a reserved seat. The ticketmaster price difference is probably their outragous fee.
