  1. I want to see Ryan "The Mauler" Munthe vs. Ben "The Bonebreaker" Gooding go toe to toe. Winner gets a $1,500 purse.... (not a handbag) Will post the GoFundMe in just a bit
  2. Dallas coach's caravan a couple of years back (635 hotel)
  3. ran into a fan while wearing my hat in the Garden of the Gods this Saturday in Colorado Springs. He knew that we were currently getting our asses handed to us so I imagine that he keeps up with the program.
  4. Surprised it didn't open at -21
  5. And while some of you may think this feedback is negative and that this thread should be locked.... I feel that it shows how the players feel that we the fans have reacted to what is occurring within the program. To the players I would reiterate that which has been stated before this post in that we are not doubting or cheering against you as individual players or as a team but are, in fact, asking that this staff be accountable for it's coaching and decision making. You can look at any other program that has just 1 winning season in 10 years and you will see the same type of actions by the "faithful". Please don't take this as personal but something has to change and the fact that there people who want better than 1 winning season in 10 years shows that we are in fact the "faithful" you would choose to call out.
  6. Crooked I (Irving) where we don't care for no mooselims or budding clock designers Grew up in Lochwood (Dallas) until I was 12 and will always consider Dallas my home with a prolonged stayover in Irving.
  7. Beat me to it.
  8. I remember thinking about how awesome it would be to see a competitive game against Iowa with Mac having this many years under his belt when they announced this game. Now you couldn't pay me to attend a road game with this program and it really kills me to say it. Outside of the at La Tech game in 2013 I have never witnessed a win on the road. I really though I would be packing my bags to go to Iowa City this weekend but I've known for over a year that this wasn't going to happen. It really saddens me to feel this way about the program and I wish I could fast forward a couple of years until this ship has been righted.
  9. like I said when we hired him.... Cosh has NOT worked at a program longer than 3 yrs (only 1 job over 2 yrs) over the last 20 some odd years of coaching. Finding him as D-Line coach at a school we SHOULD be considering beneath us does not bode well for his reputation. He hasn't bothered moving his family to Denton for a reason. I don't expect our defense to go anywhere with him at the helm. We might see some improvement on D-Line but that would be due to Kevin Patrick being a badass.
  10. you'll have a ton of pics to give out
  11. Sorry.... just a little down watching La Tech and WKU squaring off with G5 teams and potentially coming out ahead.
  12. If we win 2 or 3 games and we don't clean the entire house then I will see you in said fin for about 2-3 games next season.
  13. We go 2 wins this year and there isn't a chance in hell that I renew season tickets for next year.
  14. I was back in Irving (with a stop in Southlake) with 4 min left on the clock
  15. Anyone know a bookie?
  16. Well you sir will hopefully join our GMG tailgate and have a beer with us.
  17. Rice by 21
  18. McNulty throws an interception at :09
  19. I didn't have a large sample size but some douchelord in front of me (line to get in) started mouthing off about "yeah but they have to attend North Texas..... North Texas sucks brah" When I started mocking him and calling him out he wouldn't turn around. His head turned and realized I was aiming my mockery at his boat shoe wearing ass but apparently he didn't want to man up. I'm not beneath letting a little of my Irving out on someone :)
  20. He needs to give up football before he destroys his body
  21. Canales needs to go.....now. Mac needs to answer for obvious nepotism by continuing to play his best friend's son. If he doesn't fix this then fire him too
  22. "Most importantly, SMU is going to have a different home-field advantage than it has had in years. Against Baylor, SMU’s students showed out and so did the alumni. The fans stayed late and were energized by the team’s performance. This should mean an even stronger showing from the SMU faithful on Saturday as the fan base has been waiting for something to cheer for for a long time. The environment and SMU’s five-man defensive secondary will cause issues for UNT quarterback Andrew McNulty and SMU’s offense will be able to outperform UNT’s." The environment? I bet there are AS MANY UNT fans there as there will be SMU fans (not just onlookers). We will bring more people to the game than your average game attendance in years of late. Our band and student section will be vastly louder than your own and you won't know that you are in your own stadium. I'm not sure how this game pans out but anyone who touts the "environment" at SMU being hostile and potentially affecting the game in SMU's favor is on heroin.
