  1. So Littrell goes from saying anyone is welcome to .. "exceptions for certain boosters". Yeah.... that wasn't his call at all. I'm now at the point where I will gladly line up outside the AD when he and his cronies pack their bags and cheer loudly as they get in their cars one last time.
  2. And in one post I have lost all respect for you as someone who knows what this program needs. I wonder what your motivations are to keep him in place. *edit.... I noticed that my post looks like I regurgitated UNT90's
  3. I hate to say this but I will not be giving to the MGC this year. I will instead donate to another cause or the CAS. I can't stand that RV is such a chickenshit and can get away with this chickenshit move. They all need to go from RV down to the MGC coordinator. Get people affiliated with our school and alumni put in place and help elevate this program to the heights it deserves.
  4. you and me both... sitting in my parents living room with them (both went to MSU for undergrad and grad degrees) and watching this unfold was heartbreaking. I was proud of MTSU though. Just like I am proud of SFA right now.
  5. I will definitely not renew my MGC membership and will instead give to the College of A&S if Benford is retained. Be a man and admit you made another mistake.....
  6. Benny isn't going anywhere. RV's ego will ensure that he doesn't have to make two major hires in one year.
  7. Cool...so I'll listen to the advice of a TCU transfer that never experienced JJ's era and was given a girl's name.....just because.
  8. This. Look for Academy to be up next 5 yrs down the road. Maybe even Dicks. These places are like Circuit City and Best Buy. Some people use them in a jam but ordering online is just much more easy.
  9. Try again
  10. Oh and I know that. I was referring to the comment that it was a great place. They play (currently) better football than us but that is where it ends as far as my endorsement of both the town and a place to be enrolled in "college"
  11. Have to disagree about Logan..... that place sucks. Much like other areas of Utah it has scenic appeal for sure but that is where my kudos comes to an end. I took this pic this last year right before we went out for dinner and drinks. I guess the problem was that we had dinner at one spot and drinks at another. Guess what? We had to order food in order to be served a drink and it wasn't the establishment's law it was the backyard ass state of Utah. Having asked the bartender at one of the largest "bars" in Logan why they close at 10pm on a Saturday night he said it was "just because" and that people in that town drink at each other's houses (out of fear of being targeted by religious bigots no doubt). That town is the anti-college town and I feel bad for anyone that get's stuck there. I know Chico never cared to socialize at watering holes in Denton but I just can't imagine going to a public university that large in a state that basically smothers your ability to go out on the weekend and let loose. Utah is like some alternate universe where a minority can be spotted every few days and the entire state is run by a religious organization.
  12. You sure can. So that we can all take turns taking a dump in it.
  13. More like what if Brett Vito wrote that about SMU......and disregarded the true standings of where UNT currently is as a program in favor of taking a jab at SMU.
  14. Elaborate please. Do you know harbor sports hate for any one particular team/organization?
  15. Moreso I would like to add that after having reviewed the coaching hires at UTSA that I much prefer our own situation. Their OC really looks like Cosh on his resume and the DC was a safeties coach at USM (looking for a new job I'm sure). Both of them are from the Delta and have zero exp with San Antonio or that area of Texas. Recruiting a bunch of New Orleans guys to come play at Tulane or LSU is not a hard task. Telling them that they should go to the tourist trap known as San Antonio and to a university that has no pulse (I've been there just 2 months ago) will take a bit of a miracle. The campus hangout is a Chuys or <insert chain restaurant name here> I have literally seen articles from SB Nation about how Louisiana and TacoTown are on par in regards to recruiting and I almost puked. Nobody is believing that nonsense and I look forward to the day our little dick friends in San Antonio realize what is in store for them
  16. as they should but the difference between Vito and this butthole is that Vito can stick with an unbiased prediction and is usually spot on. This guy allows being one of 5 fans of the Community College of Chicken to get in the way of being insightful and relevant as a journo.
