I had a dream last night.........that UNT played OU opening game (Nathan started at QB) and we only lost 14-7. I remember waking up so happy that UNT could at least not get blown-out by a team like OU.....life was good.....until I went to work.

No offense to the guy....but he looks all of 13. Glad he can play though!

don't wanna sound so bias but judging from the school he attends (God's Academy) I think his family would push him towards TCU out of the options mentioned above. Just my 2 cents.

If we "improve" at the rate that is consistent up to this point (see last year's close calls) who can we expect to at least hold our own against next year with out of conference play? Clemson- its probably not gonna happen but already on ESPN in the conversation section of the game...the Clemson fans are talking crap about how disgraceful it is that their team is playing us when they used to open against Texas. Let em have it. Rice- I would put money on us squashing the crap outta them. There team last year was absolutely smashed across the boards with minor exceptions. Army- If last year's team comes out...it will be tough in their house but I think we can when by +3 K State- Beaten by ULL and we all remember our nail bitter and should coulda woulda game with them last year. Just saying....depends on how the season turns out we have a realistic chance of beating them with what could be a full Fouts house.

So if we have beaten Texas and stood strong ground on OU and beat Ark....why are we not ranked?

Great to hear...sorry I missed the event...some sushi sounds great right now! In investigating the Softball Results this year we have also beat a couple of other teams of interest including Baylor (twice) Arkansas (smack down city) and we had nailbitters with both OK and Colorado State. Way to go girls!

Forgive me for posting this....but for those of you who didn't see....our defense got hammered yesterday in the scrimmage. Below is the chat trascript of the matchup. Key standouts (IMO) are both Baine on the run as a QB...and DT's lethal arm. Tune had his moments as well....either way...the defense took way too long to adjust to the style of offense that they play next to every day. I for one am scared and hope to God that Gary gets his side of the house in order before we get into another drought of a season. 100% agree with this statement in that Riley was already pulled from schrimmage citing problems with his arm and shoulder (see Brett's article).

Great analogy and 100% agree....the kid is very talented but doesn't have the spark of either White or Tramiel as fas as leadership and running the game is concerned. Gotta love his talent though.
