MTSU Board Either way...I am convinced that their team starts the season with a giant issue on their plate. Whether or not he is guilty/punishable is not the question...but moreso..how will this news affect the entire team's performance? Mine as well...I almost wish we could have got a JUCO Kicker in order to fill in while he continues to develop. I can't help but to think that missed FGs will bite us again this year and potentially cost some games.

This bar would be the ever smokey Spirit Grille in Irving (Northgate and MacArthur). They have crappy TVs...for watching purposes I should mention to you Irvingites that the Buffalo Wild Wings on 635 will show UNT games...I watched the Bama game there last year.

Also something worthy of note...I live in Irving and both last night and the last time I visited this bar...I noticed two separate people wearing UNT shirts.

For the record....had a couple drinks last night with dinner and got into the conference realignment chat with others at the bar (random like). The guy next to me kept referring to his team TAMU. I asked if he went there and he stated no....his dad did for a bit and his brother graduated there. This kid actually writes a small check to the 12th Man ever year and I asked why if he didn't go to school there? Its the Aggies...I get it. Later in the conversation he mentions "your team at UNT" and wants to know what happened to Vizza. I explained he left for TAMU and got zero playtime (now off the roster). He then asked..."aren't you guys building a new stadium?". I showed him the recent aerial flyovers courtesy of our resident pilot. He was impressed. I asked where he went to school.... "oh....well.....I have been at UNT for a couple years and graduate next year". I had nothing else to say to him. Chat Recap

What a clown.... I think the Big 12 does not share your sentiments Larry. You got picked up by the only school that would take you. And UTSA...you can bash TSU all you want but just remember that Larry applied for Rice before he had a reality check and was passed up by then TSU's HC for the job at Rice. Larry Coker assumed the HC job at Miami with a machine like team put in place by the departing HC Butch Davis...... Yes 2001 was a great year for them...but his results got worse and worse each season. He didn't build that glorious 2001 team...Butch Davis did.

My money says that is exactly who he is referring to...at the least. If he choices are local...he has UNT..TCU...and SMU. Between the three only one has a program currently doing anything (even if it took the DMN some hate mail to realize that). AJ would be a most welcome addition indeed!

k...well there is a reason he wasn't picked up at a larger school...size and threat of injury (this is all up for debate). Again...noone can get this team as pumped as he can (last year anyway) and he is very very talented. I would just rather have a QB with 30 lbs and 4 inches on him (both fit the case).
