we can all agree that none of this would be up for debate if we didn't feel that TD is loyal to the school...the program and to do what he can to make it successful. I only wish he wasn't such a likable guy so that the inevitable decision that will come would be less debated.

So in reading this I followed along with what Baylor mentioned about the Klutz situation and that guy got off with zero issues. WTH? Lace has a couple things going against him as far as trying to stay out of the PR light 1.) He is the leading scorer for Baylor...hence newsworthy 2.) He is black... (look at Klutz and tell me that him being white didn't help his cause) 3.) He is at Baylor.....people seem to fish up as much as they can on the school and it's athletic programs 4.) Her dad.....should never have made any statements whatsoever. Sorry as these are all Captain Obvious postings...but felt the need to share my .02 Hopefully the right decision is made no matter what that may be (this is called Poltico-Speak)

Love how WKU's portion states that "not even a trip to FIU could cure them".....shows how much the writes evaluates what is occurring. Considering that last week was FIU's first conference game after going toe-to-toe with both Maryland, TAMU and Rutgers....I wouldn't be bad mouthing the potentially bowl bound team.

jealous is a bad word to use....I don't give two flips about what schools the kid at the Firestone Station wished he had gone to before succumbing to a blue collar life (college is not for everybody). Moreso...I don't give two flips if he wears a UNT shirt as a bandwagoner of our sports programs. What I would like to see is more of the 100k Alum in North Texas engaged in their school and sports programs. Just think... if DFW has 6 Million people and it were "UNT day" and all 100k in the area wore a shirt. That means per every 100 people you would see 1.6 wearing a shirt...and that's allot of visibility.

Noone disputes this....but when a Tshirt Alumni slams someone wearing a shirt from a non "T-shirt Alumni" type school (that they actually attended) as if to degrade them or be condescending...then it is game on on the taunting of them in return.

Take Troy's QB Corey Robinson...a redshirt freshman..here are his stats: 1503 yds thrown so far in 2010 with a projection of over 3600 yds by end of season 11 TD passes with a mere 3 INTs....projection of 26 TDs and 7 INTs. Corey's ESPN stats now look at his recruitment profile on Yahoo...outside of Troy he was offered by Murray St. and Eastern Ky and was a modest two-star Yahoo stats as a junior he posted 2,600 yds... 29 TDs and 14 INTs. He had all the makings of being someone overlooked and obviously he was. I watched last night this kid aim his laser at a very capable receiving corps that seemingly couldn't drop a pass. Maybe Chase or Dodson is this kid (better hope so) but I agree that our QB hunt needs to occur every year without fail.

K...I get hated on all the time by those "T-shirt Alumni" that he spoke about earlier for daring to wear my school's tshirt on such a popular douche day as Texas-OU. The audacity that I must have to wear a UNT shirt on a day that UT plays astounds most. The second you utilize the term "t-shirt alumni" they all shut up though...so if you ever find yourself in that position just drop it on em.

and while I agree with most of what you say....we don't even need to get those involved in our games that didn't go here. Most of us have co-workers who went to school at UNT but wore TU or OU shirts on Friday...and even Saturday. Targeting those individuals by shaming them (my favorite tactic) is what needs to be done first and foremost.

With the game wrapping up ....I am not afraid of Dasher but am deathly afraid of Troy.
