  1. had to change my original post......but the guy is a joke and so is the station
  2. SO that walkway they are building....leads right over to NT Blvd. Now I am truly doubting that a genuine walkway will be built from Fouts lot over to the stadium. Gonna be a painful choked intersection right there at 35 with pedestrians and cars.
  3. Well...someone did. I sat next to 90 after you left...maybe he knows a little something about it....hmmmmmmm JK
  4. other videos on the same page of our guys rappin. Youtube
  5. RV's Secretary has my wallet locked up in her desk. I requested that it not be used tonight (can't pick it up till tomorrow) to bring out DMac and his wife to the Pourhouse.
  6. he would have been my FCS HC of choice had we taken that route....guy will be in the FBS in no time.
  7. Agreed. This presents quite the dilemma though in that who do you start next year? If ground and pound is the MO of DMac he might likely choose Riley. If that is the case...will Nathan stick around to be a backup? Either way...if we could have Riley, Nathan, Derek, Chase and Tea.....I like our odds.
  8. The ASU board is screaming for Hugh Freeze the current OC.
  9. Joe DeForest- Oklahoma State assistant head coach/special teams coordinator/safeties coach and ex-Cajun Mark Hudspeth- Mississippi State wide receivers coach/passing game coordinator (claims he is not a candidate) Gunter Brewer-Oklahoma State outside receivers coach Jeff Monken- Georgia Southern head coach (all signs are pointing to him at this time) Gary Crowton- LSU offensive coordinator Brian Jenkins- Bethune-Cookman head coach Burton Burns- Alabama associate head coach/running backs coach Mike Canales- North Texas offensive coordinator/ex-interim head coach Ron Dickerson Jr.- Ole Miss receivers J.C. Harper- SFA Head Coach
  10. tell this to the 80 yr old Alum behind me at the K State game cause they were screaming "Go Eagles" as loud as they could.
  11. read earlier today that it was over 40k this year average (TCU). It was a 10% increase over last year (shocking that it wasn't higher). Sorry no link
  12. I think we can all admit that 3-4 games would not have been lost had we had a tougher defense this year. In fairness they have been placed into situations where they cannot succeed with ease due to poor field position on our behalf (Rice game comes to mind). With the improvement of both the Defense and the Special Teams....while maintaining a potent offense...we should and can expect a turnaround next year. From what the Iowa St. (and Iowa for that matter) fans state is that he excels at both of the weakspots. The question is...will the offense maintain the great year that they had? If we can shave off a TD and a FG per game (allowed) that would be a great start. Bring in Chris Ash and we can get those 4 "shoulda been INTs" against KSU into certain INTs. There is zero reason to flamespray a man who hasn't even been given a chance to do his job. The less bickering that occurs the more we can unite behind him and the team and look forward to a successful opening of the stadium. He was not my pick....but I will support him because it is more important to me to see UNT win than it is to moan about how my choice didn't get picked
  13. very true... though I would still state that the MWC is one notch above CUSA at this point. So how can we get SMUt to bounce?
  14. ouch...damn my ailing eyes.
  15. Some refer to us as a "shoe-in" if either SMU leaves for the MWC or if the MWC decides they want DFW market share and SMU won't budge. CUSA thread
  16. Don't look now...but that link is going to an overloaded board (MWC's) they must be getting a ton of traffic.
  17. This....
  18. Gonna be tough to make happen but it would solidify our coaching staff as the best in the SBC
  19. Not to mention that Tune may get his redshirt yet.
  20. Easy Rick.....that was a legit post and was trying to get over a brainfart by forgetting about Russia's love for hockey and soccer. Glad they were at the game and proud they got to see the Mean Green as ambassadors of football.
  21. Glad they had a great time... is it bad that I cannot think of one professional sports organization unique to Russia? I know they like basketball but what else?
  22. Agreed... but let's be real. He isn't going anywhere. He won't switch teams senior year and get modest playing time at another school just out of spite. He is angry and still young. Remember the post I got quasi-flamed for noticing that his FB page had a profile pic of him flipping off the camera? These are things that young cats do and say...and when the dust settles he will realize that staying is in fact his best option. That posting another yr of over 1500 yds...and maybe next year getting 2k yds (hopefully his goal) will be the only way he succeeds and stands a chance of getting picked up by a Scout. I am sure that once he mets DMac and gets told that Ground and Pound is his preferred offensive scheme that he will enjoy his next year here. These players just had a reality check and can check off...The "Life Isn't Fair Lesson" from the bucket list.
  23. Actually...am I reading this wrong cause ESPN has it at #3??? ESPN
  24. I was thinking the same thing...
