Either I am one of only a few people on this board that haven't been privy to what DW looks like in practice or so many of you are jumping the gun on your DW analysis. Last minute gameplay against a very tired Idaho Defense shows me about as much as a Spring Game would. I am sure he will be a great QB but just remember the euphoria felt when people got a very small glimpse of DT in the Arkansas State game (redshirt burn game) and how everyone thought he would be the second coming of (insert name here) only to lose out to Tune.

I like the train idea too but I would want to drive down Friday to at least Austin. The train is 9 hrs each way whereas driving is 5 and a half

Like I mentioned to Harry earlier.... I just don't see why the AD wouldn't ask for a volunteer effort to help out during times like this where they obviously need assistance. Most of the time I am sure that they could count on student athletes to come in and assist with the phones, mailings, taking orders and so on. With so many student athletes out on Xmas break that really affects your auxiliary staff #s. I am sure that there are at least a few alum who reside in Denton that would answer that call.

A gamble.... I would have thought that they would like to promote this deal throughout the weekend and into Monday or even Tuesday. They are making a tough call by launching later than today due to the risk of alienating those who are, as we speak, making plans to go do something on NYE or NYD. The problem I see arising is that if they do launch one and we sell a couple of thousand easy.......they will get in through the will-call gate and if shi* hits the fan with our own tickets not arriving then you will see one VERY busy Will Call booth.
