+1 Not only yes, but hell yes. I turned on football today and felt some embarrassment for the Mean Green sucking it up lastnight. Then during a conversation with my wife I learned that earlier this summer she had a 14yo patient that came into the ER with an old spice bottle stuck up his keester. THAT is embarassing. I instantly felt better. So keep that 14yo old spice boy in your mind while thinking about Chico and TD. It helps me.

Well, I was only talking about this site in particular. It is a miracle that given our terrible record in the past 6 years, that we can have the 6th largest crowd in Fouts history to open the season.

You will never hear me say that we have been lacking in the coaching experience. However, this year we have experience all over the coaching payroll. Therefore I wasn't taking the history of the program into my argument. I was taking this team and this year. Game one was well coached. Game two was an abortion. I still want to see game three before my head asplodes. I figured we would be 2-2 in our first 4. I didn't think we would lose our one home game though. Let's see what this team can string together in the next two weeks. I am letting this new experience gel. If it doesn't, then we know the end result of the season. So I am not getting gray haired on this game -- we know how the story ends if he continues to lose. It has been a rough start to the season with injuries. I can't remember a season like it. Yet, this is why we have the experienced coaches to coach us out of this situation. I just hope they can do it and save their jobs.

I feel we are one loss away from some fans on here writing their good bye letters. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.

This team doesn't need to be coddled. They lost this game. The coaching staff didn't get a punt blocked, lose two fumbled, miss a FG, drop passes in the endzone, throw and INT, shank two or three punts, place kick the ball out of bounds twice, drop two interceptions, allow the kick returner 40 yard when he did actually touch the ball, not be able to push a lumbering TE out of bounds to save a TD, etc, etc, etc. With the long list of player mistakes, it is insane to think that we had the lead in the 4th. Even more amazing is that Rice only put up 31 points when they started 8 drives within OUR 40 yard line. Maybe the 25 pt loss went to these team's collective head and this wakes them up. TEAM! Please don't give up.

I know two people from Rice and they married each other. They both went on to be doctors and are very good people. I consider them two of my go-to friends for anything. It is a great academic institute, but boring otherwise. My high school had more students than Rice. They all live on campus and are inbred with their relationships (not literally. Everyone has dated everyone else.) They tend to be the upper crust of the economic scale and have never worked and don't branch out very much from their circle. It just seems like an extension of a prep school, not my cup of tea. Definitely no disrespect. I am glad Rice is in Texas.

Galbreath may like the younger ladies. Scrappy used to wear #5 too. True story - was at a gentleman's club in the 2000's and this lady who was dancing told me she used to be the UNT mascot. I looked up her name and sure enough, it was true. I never returned, it hurt my head to pay Scrappy $20 to dance.

I am pretty sure I got a gift last year and not a gift card - though I won't swear to it. There is a good chance I never picked up my gift.
