  1. @keith yes and no, too. Yes. NY state did order that step down COVID patients should be sent to nursing homes for recovery. But no, it was not to keep the hospitals cleared, it was because the hospitals were at capacity and they needed emergency spill over. Maybe that is why people were advised to stay away in your area? The hospitals were already peaked? The decision on who or when to hospitalize patients hasn't changed (at least here in Texas). If the patience needs hospitalization, then they need it. There was never an effort to keep people from going to the hospital until it was too late. A lot of deaths from COVID come from after they have 'recovered' and they crash again. It is a very strange sickness in that way.
  2. Roy Den Hollander would love to have a word with you. But I can already hear you say that he was just 'crazy' ...
  3. There are no sports happening. And losers that can't help the greater cause to flatten the curve will keep it that way.
  4. Or the Miss Teens during Trump's tenure. https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-features/a-timeline-of-donald-trumps-creepiness-while-he-owned-miss-universe-191860/
  5. You've lost it. You are too far gone. I would think you would be outraged about federal unmarked troopers pulling protestors of the streets in unmarked rental cars.
  6. It is precisely what I stated. You are definitely proving yourself not the expert. That is not on me. First I said: "...inflated positive results (including probable covid) and making the death percentage go down (since all death require positive test). I agree, they should fix that to report the accurate death rate." Then I said: ".. inflated positives, has no impact on hospitalizations and deaths - that do require confirmed PCR. Therefore giving a rosier picture on death rates. .." It is the same message. Same context. Same meaning. I have never claimed to be an expert, but I do read the links you shotgun here that don't seem to back up your reason for posting them.
  7. If you think sex at the work place is always a crime - you need some more critical thinking skillz. "Can consensual sexual relations between a supervisor and his or her subordinate be considered sexual harassment? Yes." Is it always -- obviously not. Did Monica come and say he harassed her or forced her into a BJ? No. So I am going with her word. Had she said yes and he forced her - then my answer would be yes.
  8. It's the same result - regardless of state. It potentially inflated positives, has no impact on hospitalizations and deaths - that do require confirmed PCR. Therefore giving a rosier picture on death rates. When actually the death rate is probably more in line with other countries. Get it?
  9. In Virginia... So.. like inflated positive results (including probable covid) and making the death percentage go down (since all death require positive test). I agree, they should fix that too report the accurate death rate. "A lack of federal guidelines has created huge variation in how states are reporting their COVID-19 data and in what kind of data they provide to the public. These gaps can be used for political advantage. In at least one state, Virginia, senior officials are blending the results of two different types of coronavirus test in order to report a more favorable result to the public."
  10. Hopefully. Wish we had the mask mandate the whole time. I really hope we can turn this around in short order.
  11. Banging an intern while married does not fall within the realm of my approval. Was it criminal? No. Lying about it? Yes. Banging a porn actress criminal? No. Paying porn actress to keep quiet criminal? Yes. Right and wrong on these matters is easy. They are the softballs.
  12. Yes - my mistake. I was thinking of his other advisors violating the Hatch Act. Thank you for the correction. He only violated the ethics roles of the government. Not Hatch. https://oge.gov/web/oge.nsf/Resources/Endorsing+Organizations,+Products,+or+Persons
  13. See... but that is the rub here. Those people acting immaturely are not professionals and can shoot from the hip in the name of 'voting with their dollar.' It is to be expected and happens all the time. People are free to act a fool. But the leader of the free world SHOULD be professional, but he can't get out of his own way and violates the Hatch act. He uses the Oval Office as a tool to help that company and troll those libtards. We expect him to be better than some snowflake who shoots from the hip. We SHOULD all have that expectation of our leaders. We are not wrong in having our expectations - regardless of who we voted for.
  14. @THOR I genuinely appreciate you acknowledging how you don't follow politics closely and not up to speed on the topics I mentioned. For real. Also, for being open on how you see it.. The lack of Biden coverage may be indication on how you center-oriented (assuming you think your new is center focused) news sources is really not as center as you think it is. Biden just released his economic and environmental plans. Not to mention he has done live press conferences. Why you don't see more news on him - is because there is pandemic underway, no federal plan on it and the economy is struggling. That is why it focuses mostly on Trump - since he is in control of those things. This is his administration. I find it hard to understand that you don't see Trump as an outside the normal president (not his non-politician experience aspect). He is a lightning rod on all fronts - things that both parties and all voters have rejected over and over. Whether it is his person life of three wives, adultery, explicit affairs, paying off porn stars to hide their affairs, outright lying, personal attorney going to prison for campaign finance violations, his campaign chair going to prison, getting impeached, ties to Epstein, the whole 'grab them by the pussy', publicly loving up dictators, Russian bounty on troops, crashing economy .... You can see that in a NORMAL time and NORMAL attitude about presidents - he would not have the fans he has. I don't get how you can't see that.
  15. That's a good point. I never take any "bUt biDen CAn'T THinkS!" as a personal affront on my decisions. I don't own any Biden or DNC attire either.
  16. Disliking of a person is not evidence of a blind following. His approval rating is in the tank - so having one side show displeasure is the obvious thing you will see.
  17. This is certainly nothing new and people need to look in the mirror. I agree 100%. However, there is definitely one side that is more cultish in their blind following. Even though there are more 'lefts' in the country - we can't get our act together to blindly follow whomever wins. Obama was hit hard from the left for his international policies and drone bombing weddings. Clinton was hit hard for his don't ask don't tell stances. Hillary didn't win because liberals were who hurt about Bernie and the DNC sat out the election.
  18. Looking at the statistics for how Republicans feel about him and his handling of the pandemic, they will included in the quick to remove category too. But really, this isn't even a funny joke. There's no comedic value. Where's the punchline? The left doesn't approve of how Trump is governing? Or that we would just switch the masks inside out? The left is not trying to ignore science like the right? The punch line seems to be that the left would start to think irrationally like the right based upon our visceral reactions to Trump's handling of these problems. Doesn't seem like a joke on the left.
  19. Luckily, this old article still works because this is not fluid news. Being that you won't find a reputable person going around and saying "we are the only country acting like a wet sack of dicks..." I think were safe on that anatomical insult. Whereas things like retard, spaz, midget and hysteria need some catch up time with the older crowds that grew up using them derogatorily and thus see no problem. I'm certainly not offended by everything. But somehow you really love to troll and feign shock when people want to talk about your one liner articles that you give no opinion on.
  20. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3480686/ ... https://rewire.news/article/2019/11/21/im-not-hysterical-but-youre-sexist/ It is not a science term. It is founded in strange sexism.
  21. I don't think you really care. You show no concern for the meaning or impact of words.
  22. I am worried about how the data is now being reported to HHS and the database is not public anymore. Seems like Trump couldn't slow the testing, so he will slow the releasing of data.
