It seems to be what every program goes after, big, fast linemen on both sides of the ball. It seems to me that we decided to go after these guys a little too late. What are the chances, given our horrendous play, that guys will want to come here? I am not giving up on the program, just really concerned about the state it's in.

OT, recruiting seems to be really quiet. I read somewhere SMU already has 22 commits, Is this true?

We definitely need to add a te to the formation, and go under center at least when inside the five or short yardage situations. We lose five yards automatically. If we are sticking with the spread we really need to get the ball off within :15 seconds to keep the d off balance. All this popping up needs to stop. Call a play, then have an audible ready. I don't have an answer for the our d. We just seem to lack speed, and the tackling needs to get a whole lot better. IMO.

What do you expect at 0-7? Only true die hards can find a way to cheer on the team.

I commented on this but he hasn't posted it.. basically like someone else said it's not a surprise, when there is the potential to go 0'fer, and no significant gains have seemed to be made In the past season. I can see a lot of decomits forthcoming, just speculation. I really hate to be saying it. Wish things were different.

A certain wavering poster on this board may have caused some of the negative reaction, it won't be the first time. The vote passed lets move on to getting the S.S. NT Mino righted. If that can be done.

I hope I am not blindly excited about this team... I don't know if I could endure another athletic let down.

I agree you support the players because they stepped into a situation that seems to be out of control, as long as they play hard I will support them. It's the coaches and the coach's decisions I hold suspect. That said no matter how bad it gets I will still support the program and the university. Hopefully it won't be bad for long.
