Like words, meanmags post shows that numbers mean things.

How does he feel about morale victories?
-
Sounds like a great idea. They could be quarterly meetings where the higher ups tell us, the constituents how things are progressing. After they blow smoke up our a$&, we can tell them how it's really going. Now how can we get the Univeristy and Ath. Dept on board?

The radios show is in his contract, these are a must. The post games aren't, but it sure makes him look bad.

I believe his LSU team who he never coached before is undefeated. Just saying. I know he left but I think that should say seething to the folks that say give it a year.
-
I think you figured out his diabolical plan. Make every one transfer, so he gets HIS players in and no one attacks him for pulling their schollys. Brilliant!

I don't know... I see an awful lot of grad assistants on our side of the bench drawing up plays and calling for study groups.
-
Even if we did, something tells me the Administration wouldn't admit they were wrong.

Is tomorrow a two-fer double header?

They really just need to hand out MGC donor Cards that we can flash so they'll let us in. Oh wait they do! Too bad it never works. -
I agree players aren't performing. So If the players aren't performing that would mean this team is better than they've shown and that they are not just a rag tag group of walk ons. So who's job is it to get results out of players who aren't performing? I say it's the coach. I grew up around a lot of coaches. My pops coached Bball, had several uncles and family friends who coached bball. Not every team my dad had contained a roster off all stars, in fact he had very few. But they won and they won a lot against teams they shouldn't have beaten, because of systems, game plans and expectations he put in players and the lessons about the game he taught them IN Practice. the fundamentals, how to shoot, rebound, break down defenders. Our team is young and are learning the game. It's the coaches job to teach what to do in his system. But so far I see nothing that shows me the current staff has a system. Some how JJ was able to get this same group to win even though they were young. If this team can't shoot, maybe they need to spend a practice session working on it. You want to compare things to the NBA? How much footage did you see of Dirk working with his coach on something as simple as backing up your defender and shooting a turnaround J? Somethings come down to basics. You can't force a system your team isn't built for. That's coaching. Making adjustments, that's coaching. Do players have to pull their weight absofreakinlutley, but to me it seems this team is lacking leadership and heart and that comes from the top as well.

I see what you did there. We're having fun here, no?

Well like most coaches he says nothing but tries to make it sound like he's saying meaningful things. A.K.A, Coach speak.

It it's not it most certainly should be. -
He cancelled his visit. http://meangreenblog.dentonrc.com/2012/11/football-prospect-cancels-visit-to-unt.html/ Sorry 90 posting at the same time.

Coaching. Done.

But look at that.. LSU has come back and actually fighting. Hmm wonder how that happens.
-
True, but I don't think he would leave unless its was for a Major Power School. They're jumping up in conferences. What would be the difference? People skewer past players for saying they're rooting for a school they grew up watching, and not the one they attended. What do you think would happen at UTA if he were to come here? Maybe he cares, maybe he doesn't. I just don't think he would leave there, new fancy arena and all, to come to UNT if it even were an option for us.
-
or maybe one to many "coaches?"
-
Cross is a UTA grad. Cross is there for the same reasons JJ left to LSU.
-
For the sake of my health, I might have to skip this one.
-
sure if I could believe they were given a solid plan. Based on Alzee's post game comments they are more free and less system oriented. Seems to me like that's code for not having a plan.
-
Or the plan they were given.
-
I guess it is ok to miss practice because based on what I've seen so far no one is holding practice.

So apparently if we're talking football it's never the players fault. If we talk basketball it's never the coach's fault.
