If you guys feel shooting is the issue, and I would have to agree it is just one of a myriad of issues, then the COACH needs to put an emphasis on it in practice. I think some bball 101 needs to be taking place.

There are a lot of coaching issues, but I'm starting to feel like some of the guys may be trying to show off for the scouts that TM may be bringing in.

I think the problem is, last year TM started playing while we were well into conference play, these first 8, we've only played one conference foe. One team we probably should have lost to in Creighton and One in Virginia, which we might not have played if we had beat the d2 team we lost to. Oh well. Whatever. I'm starting to care less and less as the days go by. Merry Happy Holiday Hoobie Whaties.

As I posted in another thread he told me via a twitter DM, after questioning his allegiance to SMU while interviewing for NT, he said NT couldn't pay home enough. He's making way more at espn. Hard to give that up I guess. It's a pretty sweet gig. Getting paid to watch bball.

I get what your saying but we are dealing with this situation on the basketball front, Benford the long time assistant who's been hungry for 15 years. Do you think it work differnently in football? I don't know the answer I just know the affore mentioned sitch were in hasn't shown to be a promissing way to go. Maybe a proven head coach from an fcs level, but I'm not so sure the assistant route is the way to go. Although none of it matters because nothing is going to change. We get to sit and enjoy what we got.

I'm sorry Andrew I don't know who you are and I'm not trying to attack you personally, but you really don't have a clue if you think we can sit here and "enjoy UNT basketball," in it's current form. It's just not fun to watch, be it the coach's fault or the players. Especially when what has taken years to built is not being torn apart brick by brick, but by a swift push of the dynamite plunger. We just have to disagree. I'm am glad you don't take NT sports as seriously as some. I guess I have to get to the point so many alums have figured out, forget about it all and abandon the program. It sure make life easier not having to worry about how one's donation dollars and ticket dollars are spent. I hope this thing turns around. I really do and I'm sincere in saying I hate to see people lose their jobs, unless its because unscrupulous things have been done, which I can't say things haven't been shady. I really do for the players' sake.
