I think the "invigoration" has been a good, imaginative coach putting together an imaginative football program in a very short amount of time. Nearly beating Baylor last year, when Baylor routed us, then nearly beating A&M this year damn sure didn't hurt. That's what puts the mindset forward that you match up with the big boys. Matching up with them on the football field. Until Bailiff got there, TxTs had not had a winning season since the Reagan administration I believe, much less sniff a conference championship. So this winning this for them is new. Remember, this season features Bailiff's first recruiting class. Bailiff was the D coordinator at TCU who had TCU's defense in the top 5 a few years ago. None of this TxTs success surprises me in the least. He is a very good coach and was an even better player for TxTs. Neally was a D-1 QB. He was recruited by Houston right out from under our noses in Dallas and then later transferred to TxTs. That's what happens when you feature a pro style offense, you get to recruit pro style QB's out of HS. Which you can right off NT from ever recruiting with the style of O we play. It's sickening for us, but a great season for TxTs. Rick
