True, I know it looks that way on a computer screen. But I'm just assuming that it is the correct Kelly Green in person, which I have not seen yet. If it doesn't look correct I won't buy it for sure. Our hat, which had a combo of the Hunter and Kelley in the NT Battle Flag, DID show up very well against the black background. Rick

Played from 5th grade on up through High School(RB and LB at Burleson), which at the time was in the Arlington/HEB 5A district. After being out of football for 3 years I tried out during the walkon session day at NT for the spring of '88 as a punter and did decent enough to be invited to participate that year. Unfortunately Bron Beal was coming off of his second All conference season and I would have ended up on the JV team. So I decided to get on with trying to get out of school. Still, I met a lot of great people that spring especially Corky, and working with Bron that semester truly taught me a lot, as well as how very little I actually knew about punting. My only regret was that I didn't meet him earlier in life. Coaching is really everything in most sports and this proved that to me more than any time in my life. Rick

True. It's not a sport. But it's head and twizzles better than watching the NBA AllStar game, at least it was Sunday night when Ice Dancing turned into a full contact sport. There were more drops than a rabbit cage. That Italian chic was pissssssssssed off at her partner for falling when he went to pick her up. Last night she was still pissed at him and the media kept following her around. My wife not fully knowing the situation asked, "why is she so mad at him?", I replied, "Ah, he didn't do exactly what she told him to do, probably was watching football on tv when she was trying to get her point over to him, then he fouled up later on because of it, and now he can't make her happy no matter what..." I need help in trying to accomplish a couple of things. I want to help raise more money for the Andrew Smith Memorial scholarship fund. I also want to help get another NT Mean Green product out on the market for our fans, something that will be ONE OF A KIND. The product is another chrome trailer hitch cover in the new "Son Of Worm" design with the new fonts. Here is the CAD drawing, colored for visual of course: Here are a few other samples of chrome steel hitch covers: Chrome plate hitch covers I asked the manufacturer to make these large so that they will standout, similar to the large TCU and Texas covers you see around the metroplex. Ours will be 10.5 inches wide, and 5.5 inches tall. These covers are extremely heavy duty to last, (at least until our next NCAA basketball tournament appearance)? They will be made of 1/4 inch steel, heavily welded, high polished chrome and I can also custom a few of them to have them powder coated(for about the same price) in Green or White for those who prefer it. And unlike the last batch I ordered, these will have an extra inch of tubing with two positional holes to fit the pin into so that they will fit any and all 2 x 2 inch recievers. My problem is I'm not sure how much to charge for them. Due to the increase in steel their cost has gone up since my last order. And from the link above, you can see the process to have these made is expensive, some on that website are as high as $65 each. But for ours, far as I can tell, my cost will be around $35 a piece. I don't want the cost to be in the $50's, but I also want to raise as much money as I can for the Memorial fund. So my question is, how much over $35 would you be willing to pay? $10?, $12? or more? I'm ordering 25 pieces up front. If we could get $10 each, that's $250 towards the fund, half of what was raised last year. I'll take pre orders here on GMG.com, and barring disaster I plan on having them at the scholarship flag football game as well for those who prefer to pay cash. I just need some input please. As I said before, Black accents the Kelly, or lighter green better IMO, than white. The Black with NT Battle Flag hat that GoMeanGreen.com designed and voted on was GreenStock's best seller, I believe, due to the fact that the flag stood out so well on the black background. I don't have this new hat yet, but I will. Rick
